Dear Sir/Madam,

I am applying for the internship you advertised at the Third Regional Online Job and
Education Fair, in the HR Department or Marketing in particular. My dedication to the cause
and perseverance as well as commitment to work, proven both in education and sports, will
certainly bring benefits to your company.

Being a recent graduate from the Philological Faculty, Department for English Language and
Literature, I am keen on plunging into a real business world. Through my studies I have
attended various courses in English and French which have honed my communication and
presentation skills, both in oral and written form. Moreover, four months spent as an AS level
student in London equipped me with an invaluable experience, especially in critical thinking,
creative writing and multicultural awareness.

Simultaneously with keeping pace with a demanding four-year academic rhythm, I take pride
in having been engaged full time in the sports field in the Novi Beograd Athletics Club. I do
not consider my greatest sports achievement being awarded the titles of Best U23 athlete 2010
and Best Senior 2011 in the athletic club officially recognized as the best Athletics Club
nation-wide; nor being among the top ten 100m, 200m and 400m runners in the country.
What I am really proud of, though, is the fact that all these years injuries have been my
recurrent companions and I ended the fight with every single of them by improving my
personal best results!

Although my work experience has not been extensive, I had the opportunity to contribute to
my family’s budget. Besides tutoring English and odd summer jobs, I got a valuable insight
into international event organisation and multitasking at the world-renowned Belgrade
Marathon, AIMS member, where I worked closely with both the top management team and
numerous foreign VIPs and participants. With years, the duties I was assigned grew in
number, complexity and responsibility. Also beneficial from the managerial point of view was
the annual Novi Beoograd school cross-country competition organised by my club.

Since I am planning to apply for an international master study programme in international

business and management, the experience gained in your company will definitely be an asset.

Hoping to get an opportunity to present my skills and ardour in more detail, I remain

Yours sincerely

Stanko Višnjić
