In the following pages, we'll give you the top 15 Korean nouns with their
meanings. Then, we'll show you how you can memorize the words using
associations.

To use this guide, follow these steps:


1. Read the word and the meaning
2. Read the associations listed
3. Create a picture on your mind for each of the word with the
association
4. Add the association to your flashcard deck (best if you have a "Hint "
section of the card, such as with Anki)

The word for "door " in Korean is 문​(mun)​.
​To help you recall this word, you can think of this association:

There's a moon on the 문 (​door).

The English word "moon" sounds close to the Korean word 문


(mun), which means "door."

Then, you can create a mental picture of this association to


help you further. Take note that the more strange the image is,
the easier it is for you to remember.​​
