METHODOLOGY
DATA SET

We have chosen data from an HR survey set of a company


This data set contains various details about the employees
such as co-ordination, communication, productivity,
growth satisfaction etc.
The different parameters in these survey are in Nominal
Scale, Ordinal Scale
Salary, Incentives and Overtime are in Ratio Scale
Reasons for the Data
This data serves a good example for company wide
surveys which enlighten to create various policies
Based upon the collected data we can draw up
inferences and relations about the employee parameters
like
1. Satisfaction
2. Growth
3. Learning
4. Productivity
Tests Conducted on the Data
T-Test
1. Here we used T-Test to obtain an idea about the mean
salary of the sample selected.

Chi-Square Test
1. We have also employed chi square testing for two
different parameters to check respective relations
between them
T-TEST
Hypotheses
1. H0= The mean salary of all the employees is 50,000
2. H1= The mean salary of all the employees is not 50,000

Conclusion
1. As P value < Level of Significance, H0 will be rejected and H1 will be
accepted

Interpretation
1. The sample suggests that the mean of the salary is not 50,000 but 58,650
and that will also reflect in the population set
Chi-Square Test
Hypotheses
1. H0= There is no association between growth satisfaction and
productivity
2. H1= There is association between growth satisfaction and productivity

Conclusion
1. As P Value is lesser than level of significance then H0 will be rejected
and H1 will be accepted

Interpretation
1. There is a clear association between growth satisfaction and
productivity the lower the satisfaction higher the productivity
Chi-Square Test 2
Hypotheses
1. H0= There is no association between team communication and
coordination
2. H1= There is association between communication and coordination

Conclusion
1. As P Value is greater than level of significance then H0 will be not be
rejected and H1 will be rejected

Interpretation
1. There is a no association between team communication and coordination
