INTRODUCTION:
1.1 Company profile:
Our project report is on designing a “HOSPITAL

WEBSITE”. The name of our hospital is “Model Hospital lalbandi
Sarlahi.org.np
1.3 Scope of Work:
This website gives a information about the model

hospital of lalbandi sarlahi's services. It also inform the patient about
the details of the specialist and the location of the hospital. With
the help of contactpage you should also contact though this
website.
1.4 Operating Environment -Hardware and software

Hardware:-There are no specific hardware requirements in
making a website. Almost any PC computer on which you can
connect to the internet, will be sufficient. Of course,
processes execution will be slower on the less powerful
computers. Therefore hardware requirements should be
dependent on the characteristics of processes execution.
Software:-Software requirements defines how the intended

software will interact with hardware, external interfaces,
speed of operation, response time of system, portability of
software across various platforms, maintainability, speed of
recovery after crashing, security, quality, and limitation. The

requirements received from client are written in natural
language. It is the responsibility of system analyst to
document the requirements in technical language so that
they can be comprehended and useful by the software
development team.
Logos Task
XAMMP is used to run and interprets
the scripts written in the PHP and Perl
programming languages. Version
phpMyAdmin is used to handle the

administration of MySQL with the use
of a Web browser. It will be the one
that creates, modifies, and deleting
databases, tables, fields or rows,
executing SQL statements or
managing users and permissions.
PHP is widely-used general-purpose
scripting language that is especially
suited for Web development and can
be embedded into HTML.
HyperText Markup Language is the
main markup language for displaying
web pages and other information that
can be displayed in a web browser.
Cascading Styling Sheets is used to
style web pages written in HTML.

1.5 Description of technology used:-The technology is

growing day by day most educators find it easy to have a
website As technology continues to advance, information’s
disseminates easily with no hassles and it has been a
common part of our everyday needs in this world. Rapid
advances in technology have helped to meet these demands
of the society.
The success of the school in carrying out its primary charge of
educating and socializing students is contingent on student’s
awareness in the schoolin their school not just because they
can access it through online but of course it promotes the
school and a strong home-school connection.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
2.1 OBJECTIVES OF THE SYSTEM:

and their precautions.
 To make it user -friendly for the patients as they can go for

“online appointment” with the doctor and helps them to
communicate with the other departments of the hospital.

Drawback and Limitations

i. Lack of security:
Since data is stored in files that are freely available to anyone

so, information can fall into the wrong hands which can be
used negatively against the company.

ii. Too much paper work:
Records are maintained on papers and every detail is written

down manually and this leads too much of paper work.
iii. Space consuming:
Data on papers is stored in cabinets which require storage

space. So, as the amount of work done on paper increases, the
requirement of storage space in cabinets too increases.
iv. Data duplication:
The same data gets repeated over and over since the workers
find it hard to keep track of the documents, information and
transactions.
v. Slow retrieval of data:
a. The information of customers and other details are stored

in different places so, it
b. takes a long time to retrieve the data.
Chapter 06
CONCLUSION:
For the welfare of the people, the hospital website is

designed in a very user friendly way. The website intends to provide

a very dynamic and an interactive environment to all the visitors. The
cover page itself has the site map of the hospital, so that people can
get the exact location of the hospital, which would help them in
reaching the hospital in case of any emergency. The website provides
all the information regarding infrastructure, departments, the
management structure and the functioning of the hospital. The
website not only gives details about the hospital, but it also provides
the customers with the information and details of all our branches in
different cities. The facilities regarding the online registration are
also provided i.e. patient’s can register online and can keep a track
of their reports with the help of username and password. This helps
the customer to be in touch of our organisation and can be updated
about our new and improved services rendered.
