Power
Unsurpassed performance with 10,000 Volts Peak to Peak in the Spray
Coagulation mode. ExcaliburPlus PC’s high Peak to Peak voltage ensures
optimal performance in the most demanding surgical procedures. Choose
Standard Coag for a deeper coagulation effect or Spray Coag for a wide
pattern, superficial coagulation with minimal tissue divoting.

ExcaliburPlus PC provides unmatched coagulation witth 10,000 Volts (Peak
to Peak) in the Spray Mode and thermal damage free cutting with patented
Controlled Output Voltage in Cut Mode. As the electrode glides through
different tissue types in the Cut Mode, ExcaliburPlus PC constantly corrects the
voltage to provide superior cutting performance. Surgeons can choose from
three blend modes for varying degrees of hemostasis while cutting. The
Enhanced Bipolar Mode provides bipolar cutting and coagulation with minimal
tissue sticking. Unmatched Spray Coagulation and Cortrolled Output Voltage in
the CUT mode are just two examples of how the ExcaliburPlus PC employs
advanced technology tto enhance the art of surgery.
Remote Power Control (PC)
Power Control enhances the art of surgery by allowing the Surgeon to
adjust power settings from the sterile field with a standard
electrosurgical pencil. A double click of either the Cut or Coag button
activates the Power Control (PC) (Patented) mode allows the surgeon to adjust
power settings to achieve optimal surgical effects.
Safety
The Aspen Return Monitor (ARM™) combines automatic feedback
circuitry and visual displays to provide the most sensitive contact quality
monitoring system available today. In Dual Foil Mode, the ARM system
continuously monitors the safety of the pad placement and automatically disables
electrosurgical output and alerts the surgical staff if a return pad fault condition
occurs. The Assist Bargraph provides a visual display of the resistance at the
dual pad site and the manual Alarm Set Point eliminates the possibility of pad
site burns attributable to machine error.
Convenience
The ExcaliburPlus PC offers nine programmable memory locations for
frequently used power and mode settings. The surgical staff no longer has to wait
for activation to cease for power adjustments to be made. ExcaliburPlus PC allows
power setting adjustments during activation.
Versatility
Use as a stand alone ESU in any electrosurgical procedure or with the
Beamer Plus ABC® Module as a Argon Beam Coagulation System.
Reliability
The ExcaliburPlus PC was designed with the Biomedical Engineer in mind and
provides easy access for maintenace performed within the hospital. ExcaliburPlus
PC’s unique software allows calibration to be preformed from the front panel.
