REFLECTIONS
What I Learned from lessons:

I learned about Relationship/Types Of Analogy,

Verb, Simple Past and Past Participle. And
Types of sentence such as Declarative,
Interrogative, Imperative, and exclamatory.
And using Direct and Reported Speech. And
Types of viewing materials such as News Flash,
Weather Report, Internet, Documentary, Trailer,
Video and Movie Clip.

I learned types of Sentence.

Like Declarative it makes a statement and it always end

with a period.

Interrogative ask a question and always ends with a

question mark.

Imperative it gives command or request and it usually

ends with period out it may also end with an exclamation
mark.
Exclamatory indicates a strong emotion and always ends
with an exclamation mark.

I learned the main 2 types of clauses.

Independent clauses it can stand alone because it expire

A complete thought.

Dependent Clause it is also know as “subordinate” clause

and this also can’t stand alone because they don’t
express complete thought.

I learned about basic parts of a Sentence.

Subject is the one being talked about in the sentence.

Predicate tells something about the subject.

I learned about Reading Styles.

Scanning to find one specific detail.

Skimming to have a general idea of a contents.

Speed Reading (Fast reading)

Intensive Reading (reading thoroughly and
comprehensively)
