To Dr.Mohammed Faraji
 What are the SI units for length, mass and time?
 What is difference between the prefix m and M?
 What is the difference between volume and capacity?

Question 1 :
The SI contains seven BASE UNITS that each represent a different kind of physical quantity.
These are commonly used as a convention.

Mass : Kilogram :kg

Length : Meter : m
Time :Second : s

Question 2 :
The prefix is unit prefix in the metric system denoting a factor of thousandth (10^−3).
The prefix M “capital letter” is metric systems of units denoting a factor of one million (10^6 or
1000000).

Question 3 :
The amount of space occupied by an object is called its volume.
To measure volume we can use the following units:
Cubic centimetre (cm³)
Cubic metre (m³)

The amount that a container can hold is called capacity.

Capacity can be measured using the units:

Millilitres (mL)
Decilitre (dL)
Litre (L)
