Introduction:

This topic will discuss the importance of pH level, not only in Kangkong as the sample of the study but also the in the other
plants. It can help our people especially to our farmers in a way that they will know how the acidity of water can affect to the
growth of the plants and how this topic can help to our people save up from the inflation rate by planting a plant.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The study aimed to determine how water acidity or pH level affect to the plants by testing different kind of water acidity in
Kangkong.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

A. To determine the effects of different water acidity in Kangkong plant in terms of:
a.1) nutrients
a.2) soil

B. To provide exact amount to meet the enough nutrients for Kangkong plant by watering it with the exact amount of
pH level.
C. To provide people easy way to make a plant grow faster.

PART 1: INTRODUCTION

Testing different water acidity in Kangkong and determine the right pH level that fulfill the need for their nutrients.
THEORITICAL-CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

h DIFFERENT WATER ACIDITY KANGKONG PLANT

The figure above consist of two variables, Different Water Acidity as independent variables and Kangkong Plant as dependent
variables.

The Different Water Acidity as independent variable is the component that needs to be present in this study. Here, pH is a
measure of how acidic/basic water is. The range goes from 0 to 14, with 7 being neutral. pHs of less than 7 indicate
acidity, whereas a pH of greater than 7 indicates a base. The pH of water is a very important measurement
concerning water quality. To determine the exact level of pH for Kangkong plant by watering the 5 different pots of
Kangkong plants with their different level pH every day. This experiment will provide the right amount of water acidity that is
needed in the Kangkong plant which also reflect to the other plants that needs the exact amount for their pH level to meet the
right amount for the nutrients of soil which affect to the plants.

Another variable is the Kangkong Plants a semi-aquatic, tropical plant grown as a vegetable for its tender shoots. The
effect of water acidity to the Kangkong will clearly see in the nutrient that composes in the soil. As the result of the
experiment, this will provide how pH level affects the nutrients of the soil in Kangkong plants
