dtd:09.07.2009, certain guidelines & ceiling limits in respect of Cellular & Landline connections were
issued/provided for the officials of APGENCO now TSGENCO for officials proposes. Whereas, in the same
orders the cadres from Director to AE equal were mentioned for providing dept. SIM cards and
Allowances that are being paid as on date.

2. In this regard it is to submit that, the Junior Accounts Officer is one such cadre falling under
Accounts Services whose primary area of work is the overall in-charge of sections that are so entrusted
and are also liable for all the activities which requires communication with field officers, contractors, tax
personnel and other office staff over the mobile phone. As of now, the JAOs are using their SIM cards
and expending their money for the purpose of department usage day after days since years. The
department has not provided any SIM cards or allowances to the JAOs either at Headquarters Vidyut
Soudha nor at field projects.

3. In this regard this association would like to bring the same to the notice of kind management
after examining the hardship being faced by the JAOs and discriminately being put under blind for many
long years by not providing SIM cards and allowance although they fall within the scope of “Officials”
(Officers) as mentioned under the guidelines mentioned at para.1 above.

4. Therefore, we request the kind Management to please arrange to provide dept. SIM cards
along with payment of CUG allowances Rs.150/ P.M. duly including the cadre of JAO under item(ii) of
Category-V of para2 &3 of order dtd:09.07.2009 respectively and do justice w.e.f.01.04.2022.

5. Hence, we humbly once again thank the management for providing this association an
opportunity to bring forth certain grievances of Accounts Officers to the kind notice of TSGENCO
Management.
