WHAT ARE TECHNOLOGIES FOR LEARNING?

Technologies for learning as specific teaching-learning
patterns that serves reliably as templates for achieving
demonstrativebly effective learning

These technologies is designed to overcome one or

COOPERATIVE
LEARNING
Involve small heterogeneous groups of students
working together to achieve a common
academic goal or task while working together to
learn collaboration and social skills.
Collaborative learning has gained in both formal
and informal education:
Practical realization outside the classroom
growing awareness of the value of social
interaction in making learning meaningful.
The instructional use of small groups so that
students work together to maximize their own
and each other's learning.

COOPERATIVE LEARNING
Students compatibility
The teacher must know his or her students
well to form groups that will function
effectively.
Students dependancy
Devise management systems that requires
"best" and "poor" learners to trully collaborate
Time consuming
Individualist learner
Logistical obstacles
The teacher must arrange a lot of information
and assessment activities.

Fewer demands on the teacher for individual checking and
motivating.
It includes direct instruction to small groups, individual folloup
practices using programmed materials, and team study
techniques.

The advantages of this model is not only the students score
