Tools and Technique

A. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) – The project manager used WBS to breakdown the tasks and
pinpoint dependencies. The scope was easier to understand because of this chart.

B. Critical Path Method (CPM) – The project manager used the critical path method to identify the
tasks needed to be prioritized. The tasks written inside the red box are the critical tasks, and as
shown below there are five tasks in the critical path.
