Lesson 1A How well do you sleep? (9-11)

I. Aims
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to get used to the knowledge of :
1.Vocabulary: words related to sleeping and daily activities
2.Structure: present simple, questions with ordinary verbs and the verb “tobe”
Answers using adv of frequency
3. Skills ( i.e practical skill, communicative skill, critical skill,….)
Ask and answer about sleeping habit and daily activities using adv of frequency
II. Teaching methods:
Eliciting, modeling, communicative approach (through pair work, group work and student-
teacher interaction).
III. Preparation
Teacher: Textbook, laptop, overhead projector, lesson plans.
Students: Textbook and workbook.
IV. Learning activities
A. Warming-up:
Ask students to look at picture in page 9 and give their opinions about it
(Teacher may ask questions like:
What do you think they are feeling?
What are they doing?
Do you love dancing,….)
