INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ADMISSION INTO THE

CERTIFICATE IN
LAW PROGRAMME FOR THE 2022/2023 ACADEMIC YEAR

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the Certificate in Law
Programme tenable at the University of Dar es Salaam. All prospective applicants
can start lodging their applications online at https://udsm.admission.ac.tz from
15th June 2022.The course will be administered at the following centres:

 UDSM (University of Dar es Salaam)

 Lumumba (Institute of Adult Education)
 Ukonga (For Tanzania Prison Services)
 Kurasini (For Tanzania Police Force)

1. Minimum Entrance Requirements

A candidate shall be deemed eligible for consideration for admission into the
Certificate in Law Programme of the University of Dar es Salaam if the candidate
has obtained Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (C.S.E.E) and has
scored a minimum of D grade in four subjects or equivalent or passed the
Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (A.C.S.E.E.). Candidates
who do not have the required qualifications may be admitted in exceptional
circumstances on the recommendations of the Board of the University of Dar es
Salaam School of Law.

2. Mode of Application
All Applicants are advised to apply online through the University admission system
that can be accessed through the following address (udsm.admission.ac.tz)

The duration of study shall be for a maximum period of two semesters of full time
attendance.

4. Deadline

Applicants are advised to get updates on deadlines from ‘udsm admission’

webpage (udsm.admission.ac.tz), since there will be several windows of
applications.
