The story is called “The forgotten years”, but I’m not sure if the story is real or not.

The story is about a woman, Sarah Simms who lost her memory in a car accident.

When she woke up in hospital, she didn’t recognise the people around her, she only
recognised her sister but she saw her twenty years older. Michael told Sarah that he was her
husband and that they had 2 children, Alexander (11) and Linda (9) but she didn’t remember
anything.

Sarah believed she was living in the year 1973. At that moment, she was a single woman, she
was working in a film laboratory and, in the evenings, she met her boyfriend. She loved
dancing; her favourite pop group was T. Rex.

However, the accident was in 1993, Sarah had erased 20 years from her memory. She believed
she was a teenager. The doctor said Sarah’s amnesia was rare and they hoped her memory
would return.

Sarah’s husband said life was very difficult because Sarah believed she was a teenager when, in
fact/actually, she was a mother and a wife.
