Problem Statements

When any company wishes to adopt the cloud computing technology, then they
face a lot of challenges to decide which type of computing should be adopted by
the company and many other challenges. It is hard to analyze the need of cloud
computing and to implement an effective computing. It is complex to maintain the
data into hardware so every company wants to store the data in the cloud. So
which kind of cloud should adopt by the company is the main problem.

Royal Express Service, was established in 2002. A t 41st Street

Botahtaung Township, their very first office was located and traditional mail
business was born by providing services to those who wish to send their items
and mail swiftly in a safe and sound manner.

Its logistics systems and parcel-force worldwide handles around one million
parcel a year. And to do this they need an effective communicative medium. They
process and deliver different kinds of business letters, parcels, invitation
cards, Embassy hands-out, magazines, journals and many more.

They have recognized the advantage of Cloud Computing and implemented

it to their system. It has shown an outstanding performance in inter-
communication. Before moving on to Cloud system, the organization was struggling
with the out-of-date software, and due to which the operational efficiency was
getting compromised. As soon as the organization switched on to Cloud System,
18000 employees were supplied with their new collaboration suite, giving them
access to tools such as instant messaging and presence awareness. The employees
got more storage place than on local server. The employees became much more
productive.
The end users at Royal Express access the applications using a remote
desktop client over the internet. Due to the large volume of data and general
company growth, Royal Express has decide to migrate to the cloud.

Your Tasks

You are currently working as a junior cloud engineer of NTT Myanmar

Networking and Cloud Services Company in Yangon. Your manager assigns you to

make an appointment as the representative of your team and prepare the
documentation reports on the fundamental understanding of cloud computing and
its architecture to your company client Royal Express Service. You also need to
prepare evaluation reports of deployment models, service models and technological
drivers of cloud computing technologies.

Your task is to prepare a report that include the following information: introduced
with brief description of the problem and proposed solution

1) Fundamental concept of cloud computing – what is cloud computing,

principles of cloud computing, cloud architecture, Managing the cloud, etc.

2) Design an appropriate architecture a Cloud Computing framework for a given

scenario.
3) Define the appropriate deployment model for a given scenario. (Description
of the model, and discussion on why that model was chosen).

4) Explain and compare the service models for choosing an adequate model for
a given scenario.

Furthermore, you should discuss why an organization should migrate to a Cloud

Computing solution and why the solution is appropriate for this problem
statements.
Explain each cloud deployment models with real world examples. ( Adv & Disadv &
usage in real world company examples)
In addition, write a report that justify the tools chosen to realise a Cloud Computing
solution (Choose at least one popular tools in each service models).
