EXPERIMENT NO.04
TITLE:
TO REPRODUCE THE WYE-DELTA TRANSFORMATION CIRCUIT USING HARDWARE
AND SOFTWARE TOOLS

OBJECTIVES:
● To reproduce the Wye-Delta transformation circuits using hardware tools
● To reproduce the Wye-Delta transformation circuits using software tools

REQUIRED EQUIPMENTS:
a) Bread board panel
b) Transistors
c) Digital multi meter (DMM)
d) Jumper wires

PROCEDURE:
● First of all taking resistors
● Connecting those resistors into bread board according to the given figure
● Set the source voltage VS=10V
● Place one terminal of the multimeter to one end of the circuit and place other terminal of the
multimeter to second end of the given circuit
● Now measure the equivalent resistance of given circuit
● When we measure equivalent resistance then calculated the current I
● Then measure the voltage Vab
● Now calculated the power absorbed by using current and source voltage

Figure 1:

Source voltage Vs=10.09

Equivalent resistance Req=18.14KΩ

Current I= 0.556Ma

Voltage across ab Vab=0.02V

RESULT:
I Vab P=IVS

0.55Ma 0.02V 5.54mW

Figure 2:

Source voltage Vs=10.1

Equivalent resistance Req=16.67KΩ

Current I=0.605Ma

Voltage across ab Vab=0.33V

RESULTS:
I Vab P=IVS

0.605mA 0.33V 6.11mW

Figure 3:

Source voltage Vs=10.1

Equivalent resistance Req=50.6KΩ

Current I=0.199mA

RESULT:
I Vab P=IVs

0.199Ma 1.0V 2.0mW
