Do you believe that professional athletes make good role models for young people?

Individuals and particularly teenagers adopt the lifestyle of the famous people such as athletes, celebrities,
scientists, and wealthy businessmen in their routine. In my opinion, athletes can make good role models
for teenagers but they should be aware that teenagers may follow their actions in many ways in the
society which may lead to negative results in the community.
Young people follow the routine and daily activities of famous people in socialmedia, therefore a young
person would be a future perofessional athlete similar to the prominent athlete in the past. Moreover,
using evolving technologies, the perceived level of intended people to sport have been enhanced. Thus,
thesedays, people are infomred about how much athletes make effort to win various titles in their lives
and what feats and difficulties they have to bear to for their goals. Children also are able to learn the
teamwork and how to lose(or win) gracefully from professional athletes.
Conversely, some athletes do not anticipate the consequences of their actions. For instance, mistreating of
an athlete with his/her spouse could spread worldwide leads to an increase in the rate of domestic
violence all over the world. In addition some of the athlete are not good heroes for children and teenagers
due to taking several drugs in order to improve their performance in the sport competitions. Professional
athletes are get paid very high salaries, much more than normal people can expect to earn. We can
conclude that, Childeren might think money and luxurious life is much more important than other features
of their lives and it is probable that childerent neglect the good aspects of professional sport players.
Professional athletes lifestyle could be a good pattern to learn for children and young individuals, as long
as they focus on the instructive characteristics of famous people.

People everywhere like watching sports. Many top athletes are admired throughout their countries, and
some even have fans all around the world . These athletes are good role models for young people in many
ways, although in some ways they can also be a bad example.
Top athletes get the attention of young people. Most children and teenagers like to follow professional
sports. Professional athletes become heroes to them, and children want to be like their heroes. This
meansthey will want to play sports. which is good for their health. Playing sports also teaches important
lessons such as teamwork and learning how to lose (and win) gracefully. Professional athletes also
demonstrate the importance of working hard for your goals, of practicing regularly to become good at
something. This is a good example for children to follow.
However, professional athletes are not always good role models. For one thing the most famous athletes
get paid very high salaries. Much higher than most normal people can expect to earn. They also get a lot
of attention, not only when they play their sports, but in other parts of their lives as well. This can lead
children to believe that money and fame are an important part of sports. Children might focus more on
these aspects than on the fun of the game or on the challenge of learning how to play well. Then there are
those athletes who behave badly. For example, some take drugs to improve their performance in their
game. This kind of behavior sends the wrong message to children.
Professional athletes can be very good role models for children, as long as they focus on the positive
aspects of playing sports
