ES 401 (Energy and Environment Engineering)

After Completion of this course students will be able to-

CO (1)- Compare conventional and unconventional sources of energy with focus on sustainability and
environmental effects.

CO (2)- Understand various ecosystems and their components.

CO (3)- Explain threats and measures to conserve biodiversity

CO (4)- Discuss various types of pollutions, their effects on environments and legal acts to control it
for sustainable development. (Unit 4 and Unit 5)

ME 402 (Instrumentation and Control)

After Completion of this course students will be able to-

CO (1)- Explain various aspects of measurement.

CO (2)- Formulate system equation to find response of the systems to various types of input.

CO (3)- Use various measurement devices and techniques to measure temperature, pressure, velocity,
flow ,strain and stress. (Unit 3 and Unit 4)

CO (4)- Develop mathematical model of various open loop and closed loop systems.

ME403 (Theory of Machine)

After Completion of this course students will be able to-

CO (1)- Draw velocity and acceleration diagrams of various mechanism and their inversions. (Unit 1
and 2)

CO (2)- Perform Kinematic and dynamic analysis of different types of cam and followers.

CO (3)- Calculate power transmission through belt, pulley rope, gear drive and friction devices like
clutches and brakes. (Unit 4 and 5)

CO (4)- Understand the concept of static ,dynamic balancing and vibration with single degree of
freedom.
ME404 (Fluid Mechanics)

After Completion of this course students will be able to-

CO (1)- Calculate various fluid properties.

CO (2)- Compute kinematic parameters of different types of fluid flow.

CO (3)- Perform dynamic study of fluid flow to find forces and head loss in various flow conditions.
(Unit 3 and 4)

CO (4)- Apply boundary layer theory and Van-Karmann equations in laminar and turbulent boundary
conditions.

ME405 (Manufacturing Technology)

After Completion of this course students will be able to-

CO (1)- Analyse various machining processes with different tools and cutting parameters.

CO (2)- Explain different methods of gear production.

CO (3)- Describe different methods for plastic production and extrusion. (Unit 3 and Unit 5)

CO (4)- Describe different types of unconventional machining process, NDT and numerical control
machining. (Unit 4 and Unit 5)
