Mrs. Stephanie Taitano, Librarian | aheslibrary@gdoe.net | 477-8340
Welcome to a new school year in the library. Students will visit the library with their class at a
weekly scheduled time. They will also have the privilege to borrow a library book. Students may
borrow 1 book each visit, upon returning their previously borrowed book.
When your child brings a book home, please discuss the importance of taking good care of it.
We understand accidents can happen, but if books are not returned, or are lost/damaged, you
and your child will be responsible for paying for the cost of the book. Student’s borrowing
privilege will be suspended until obligations are met; however he or she may still read in the
library.
The Agana Heights Elementary School (AHES) Library encourages all parents/guardians to
support their child's efforts in reading. Borrowing a library book will allow your child to practice
reading, appreciate literature, and learn responsibility. To give permission for your child to
borrow a library book, please fill out the information below, and return it to your child’s
homeroom teacher.
If you have any questions, you may contact me at (671) 477-8340 or email me at
aheslibrary@gdoe.net. Thank you for your understanding and support.
