Problem 6 A regular hexagon of 30 mm side has a corner in the HP. Its surface is
inclined at 400 to the HP and the top view through the corner which is in the HP
makes an angle of 600 with the VP. Draw the projections.
Type 2
Problem 8 A regular hexagonal plane of 30 mm side has one of its corner on VP.
The surface of the plane is inclined at 30 0 to the VP. Draw the projections of the
plane when diagonal passing through the corner on HP makes an angle of 45 0 to the
HP. Also find the angle made by plate with HP.
Problem 9 A rectangle having sides 50 mm and 80 mm is kept in the VP on one of
its smaller sides in such a way that its surface makes an angle of 45 0 with the VP.
Draw the projections of the rectangle when one of its longer sides makes an angle of
300 to HP.
Type 3
Problem 13 A 300 – 600 set square has its shortest edge 50 mm long and is in the
HP. The top view of the set square is an isosceles triangle. Draw the projections with
the hypotenuse of the set square inclined at 40 0 to the VP.
Problem 14 A triangular plane has sides 75mm , 70mm and 60 mm. Its top view is
a right angle triangle with one side as 75 mm making an angle of 60 0 with XY line.
Draw the projections and find the angles with HP and VP.
Type 5
Problem 22 Triangular plane ABC has its base AB 60 mm long and is on HP and is
inclined to VP at 30 0. Its altitude length is 80mm. The plane is lifted on AB such that
AC lies on a plane perpendicular to both HP and VP. Draw the projections of the
plane. Find inclinations of the plane with HP and VP.
Problem Figure shows two views of a thin triangular plate ABC. Obtain the
true shape of the plate and find the inclinations of the plate with HP and VP.
