Operational Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises the activities of all oi movement personnel and assists in
their evaluation.
- Monitors raw material receiving and issues raw material
receiving report to SUPPLY and ACCOUNTING department.
- Issues “Authority To Lift” when duly authorized by the
purchasing manager or terminal Head to pick up supplies from
accredited suppliers.
- Act as signatories in the truck/barge loading documents, and
certificate of inspection.
- Ensures the security and safety of stored oil products and its
facilities.
- Ensures the availability of personnel for daily operations.
- Coordinates with QCPD (Quality Control & Preventive
Department) regarding analysis of samples sent for testing.
- Coordinates with vessels timetable and arrival status.
- Coordinates with the Engineering Department any maintenance work
on plant structures and equipment, including pumps, motors, and
valves.
- Maintains updated calibration/hydrotest records for storage
tanks, sounding tapes, flow-meters, thermometers, receiving
cargo lines, and petroleum hoses.
- Prepares work schedule for the staff.
- Act as document controller.
- Coordinates with SUPPLY for additives, dyes, and other
materials and equipment to be shipped to output
Terminal/Depots.
- Ensures correctness of daily product inventory prior reporting.
- Performs other related functions as maybe assigned from time to time.
