Peace be Upon you! You might be thinking that what is the purpose of writing this book when we already have Dr Zakir Naik and Sheikh Ahmed Deedat’s books, and so many others? Well the answer is really simple, to have a more compact book which would contain the teachings of all the Muslim Apologists, like Maulana Rahimatullah Kiranvi, the first Muslim Apologist to have gone in depth of Contradictions in the Bible, Sheikh Ahmed Deedat known for his work teaching what is Christianity in reality, and what Islam teaches, and also Dr Zakir Naik on his work on major religions. It would be hard to open many books and read all of them and then come to a conclusion, that is why this book is providing you the combined format of all of the books of Muslim Apologists and my own research on Christianity, from Trinity to Crucifixion to Resurrection to Contradictions, this book will help you go through every argument you can have against Christianity to turn the tables back at them, I do not say that you should not be equipped for your own Religion, first learn about Islam and then go for arguing with the Christians, that is what we should be doing instead of opening the Bible without learning about the Quran, if you are a Muslim. Reading this account of Combating Christianity, will InshaAllah help you in the ultimate defense for Islam. The title of the book is not to invoke irrationality between Christians but to teach them what Christianity really is. My hope for this book is that the reader will get a glimpse of what really Christianity is and learn that the Christianity today we have is not compatible and has contradictions. 3 Community For Istamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Chapter 1:- Is it the word of God? Anormal Christian holds the belief that the Bible is the word of God, and we cannot rebuke their statement until we truly know why the Bible is not the word of God. Even if a Muslim says it the Christian would not agree as we do not believe in the Bible itself, the thing that might convince them can be their own Scholars or the person who holds the belief in the Bible, or the person who holds authority on interpreting the Bible. Let's consult the Christian evangelical missionary Dr William Graham Scroggie (1877-1958). He says in his book “Js the Bible the Word of God?” on page number 17 that, “It is human, yet divine.” No Christian Scholar with high eminence or just a bit of understanding will ever claim that the Bible was written by Jesus himself. We see 4 Gospels, Gospel of Luke, Mark, Matthew and John but we do not find the Gospel of Jesus. Let’s just first start with the basics; 1) The Bible is the collection of Books. 2) It is the word of God. 3) It is Human. 4) It can have contradictions. And the third opinion is not my own, but it is the opinion of the Christian scholars that it is human, First I want to make clear that as Muslims we do not believe in the authenticity of the BIBLE, GOSPELS or TORAH, and we consider the QURAN as the last revelation and commandment and the sole authority of the word of ALLAH SWT (God). Coming back to the topic, the Bible contains 929 Chapters in the Old Testament, 260 Chapters in the New Testament with the total 1189 Chapters in the whole Bible. Now to back up the claims we (Muslims) make we have to give proof why 4 Community For Istamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge we say so, first of all let me quote you the Biblical verse in which Paul states in ist Corinthians Chapter 14 Verse 33: “For God is not the author of confusion. Ido not think that a detailed explanation of the verse is needed, because it is very clear that God does not create confusion, Jehovah's Witnesses, a Non Trinitarian denomination of Christianity believes that the Bible contains 50,000 Errors! You can check this newspaper which was published on 8 September 1957! Vouume Xxxvil Brooklyn N'Y, September 8 1957 affect the authenticity of the Bible 1x. DOS 17 WoT? But if he had. he would have had to answer that the Bible iy accu ale. true and authentic But what about the other points the article raises. such as. “Was there really. 5 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge And let me quote another one, the King James Version of the Bible is mostly used in Churches, Schools and most of the evangelical works. The world shook when in 1971 the Revised Standard Version was published which is the authorized revision of the King James Version. In 1971 the publication of Revised Standard Version, on it’s preface was written “Yet the King James version has grave defects.” If you do not believe me, have a look at it yourself. The King James Version has with good reason been termed “the noblest monument of English prose.” Its revisers in 1881 expressed admiration for “its simplicity, its dignity, its power, its happy turns of expression ... the music of it cadences, and the felicities of its rhythm.” It entered, as no other book has, into the making of the personal character and the public institutions of the English-speaking peoples. We owe to it an incalculable debt. [letting ines Veson ns ge defects 0y te mide of te rnetenth cent, the levelopment of Biblical studies and the discovery of many manuscripts more ancient than those upon which the King James Version was based, made it manifest that these defects are so many and so serious as to call for revision of the English translation. The task was undertaken, by authority of the Church of England, in 1870. The English Revised Version of the Bible was published in 1881-1885; and the American Standard Version, its variant embodying the preferences of the American scholars associated in the work, was published in 1901. Preface to the Revised Standard Version of the Bible (1971) (bible-researcher.com) 6 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Ang it is not just one Scholar who is saying that, down with the preface it states that the committee assigned 32 Scholars backed by 50 Cooperating Denominations which came to the conclusion which was written in the preface above. Still if you do not believe me, check this out. ‘The Council appointed a committee of scholars to have charge of the text of the American Standard Version and to undertake inquiry as to whether further revision was necessary. For more: than two years the Committee worked upon the problem of whether or not revision should be undertaken; and if so, what should be its nature and extent. In the end the decision was reached that there is need for a thorough revision of the version of 1901, which will stay as close to the ‘Tyndale-King James tradition as it can in the light of our present knowledge of the Hebrew and Greek texts and their meaning on the one hand, and our present understanding of English on the other. In 1937, the revision was authorized by vote of the Council, which directed that the resulting version should “embody the best results of modern scholarship as to the meaning of the Scriptures, and express this meaning in English diction which is designed for use in public and private worship, and preserves those qualities which have given to the King James Version a supreme place in English literature.” Thirty-two scholars have served as members of the Committee charged with making the revision, and they have secured the review and counsel of an Advisory Board of fifty representatives of the cooperating denominations. The Committee has worked in two sections, one dealing with the Old Testament and one with the New Testament. Each section has submitted its work to the scrutiny of the members of the other section; and the charter of the Committee requires that all changes be agreed upon by a two-thirds vote of the total membership of the Committee. The Revised Standard Version of the New Testament was published in 1946. The publication of the Revised Standard Version of the Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments, ‘was authorized by vote of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the U.S.A. in 1951. Well you might have thought that only one Scholar or evangelist which I mentioned was the one who said that the BIBLE is human, but now we have 32 Scholars admitting that the BIBLE has defects. I will quote the BIBLE verse again, “For God is not the author of confusion...” Moving on, the Christians might scream at you that what proof do you have that the BIBLE is corrupted? You can answer them with simplicity that “Isn’t the proof enough that your own Scholars admit that the BIBLE is corrupted?” but that would not inspire the Christian and instead he would say in boast that “That is no PROOF!” 7 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ilma Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Well they plan and Allah SWT also plans. Obviously I would not be able to. quote each and every 50,000 contradictions in the Bible but let’s go with most of them. Let's start the count but first on the Old Testament then we would go for the New Testament. Contradictions in the Old Testament The Old Testament contains many contradictions, far more than you can expect. I will not be quoting all of them but the most obvious ones so it is clear for readers. Contradiction number 1: Genesis : “And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face and my life is preserved.” (KJV) John 1:18: “No man hath seen God at any time...” (KJV) Now the contradiction is clear as crystal, in Genesis Jacob says that he has seen God face to face but in the New Testament in John Chapter 1 where God tells that NO ONE has seen God face to face. Now either Jacob is lying or God is lying, again the decision lies with the Christians. 8 Community For Istamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 2: In 1 Kings 4:26, in New Living Translation and some others it is recorded as 4000 stalls of horses and in King James Version and some others include it as 40,000 horses, now a person might ask that let’s go with the literal translation, Young’s Literal translation keep’s the record for the word in Hebrew which is used for forty or in plural sense as “Ar’ba’im” which is in Hebrew bible “o-y21x” so even if we take this as the right one then it would contradict 2 Chronicles 9:25 in which it states that, Solomon had 4000 horses, either the Christian should come to a decision that the New Living Translation which states 4000 horses is true and in that way it would not contradict with 2 Chronicles but if they do that they would be in a nutshell because in the Hebrew Bible in 1 Kings the word Forty is used not Four. Either they do that or agree that the Bible has clear contradictions. 1 Kings 4:26: “And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses...” 2 Chronicles 9:25: “And Solomon had four thousand stalls of horses. (Youngs' Literal Translation) Contradiction number 3: 2 Samuel 24:1: “And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, GO, number Israel and Judah.” (KJV) 1 Chronicles 21:1: “And Satan stood up against Israel and provoked David to number Israel.” (KJV) Now in the verses stated above the contradiction is clear, in Samuel God is inciting David to number Israel and in Chronicles Satan is inciting David to number Israel, in these cases we can come to three conclusions, that either God = Satan or Satan = God, the second conclusion is that we can choose one verse and take out the other, and the third is accept defeat that there is no answer to this contradiction. 9 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 4: 2 Samuel 24:9: “And Joab gave up the sum of the number of the people unto the king and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew the sword; and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men.” (KJV) 1 Chronicles 21:5: “And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people unto David. And all they of Israel were a thousand thousand and a hundred thousand men that drew swords: and Judah was four hundred threescore and ten thousand men that drew swords.” (KJV) Now these verses are interlinked with the previous contradiction. When GOD or SATAN incited David to number Judah, so the number or the count of the census is given in the later verses as mentioned above, in Samuel it states that there were 800,000 men, but Chronicles state that 11,000,00 were there men. Which one should be taken into consideration as the true statement? Now a person cannot make a statement that it is a historical misunderstanding or we are misunderstanding the author's intention, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Take a closer look at the verses, the verses are clear, Samuel states “.eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew the sword..” and Chronicles states “..thousand thousand and a hundred thousand men that drew swords.” Now as David Wood or Sam Shamoun or any Christian apologist wants to make the claim that the verses are different but if taken in context or even if out of context it does not match the claims they say. Coming towards the second contradiction in these verses, in Samuel it states men of Judah were 500,000 but in Chronicles it states Judah had 470,000 men. It is a huge difference. And in any case I do not think there is an answer to it, which is one of many Mathematical Contradictions. 10 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 5. 2 Kings 24:8: “Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem for three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.” (KJV) 2 Chronicles 36:9: “Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.” (KJV) Now the contradiction is clear like crystal again, in Kings it states that Jehoaichin was 18 years old and Chronicles state 8 years old when he came to reign. Also there is a 10 days difference in his rule which states again two contradictions in the above verses, by both the different authors. Thus a very great contradiction in the Bible. Contradiction number 6: 2 Samuel 23:8: “These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The ‘Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite: he lifted up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time.” (KJV) 1 Chronicles 11:11: “And this is the number of the mighty men whom David had; Jashobeam, an Hachmonite, the chief of the captains: he lifted up his spear against three hundred slain by him at one time.” (KJV) Now in Samuel it states that the chief lifted up his spear and killed 800 and Chronicles say that he killed 300. Now it is a numerical contradiction. But there is, somewhat an illogical thing, that it states the killer killed however men 800 or 300 at once, the question is how did he do that? Was the other side sleeping? It is a contradiction as well as an illogical thing. But even if we take it as a miracle still it does not change the fact that it is contradictory. 11 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 7. 1 Kings 7:26: “And it was a hand breadth thick, and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand baths.” (KJV) 2. Chronicles 4:5: “And the thickness of it was a handbreadth, and the brim of it was like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.” (KJV) Now again I like to say that the contradiction is crystal clear, in Kings it states there were 2000 bats and in Chronicles states it had 3000 baths, choice remains to Christians that which one they would want to choose? Contradiction number 8 1 Samuel 28:6: “And when Saul inquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.” (KJV) 1 Chronicles 10:13-14: “So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to inquire of it; And inquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.” (KJV) Now notice the contradiction, in Samuel it states that Saul inquired of the Lord but in Chronicles the author disagrees and writes that Saul did not inquire of the Lord, so what really happened? Did Saul inquire or not? 12 Community For Istamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 9 Ezra 2:8: “The children of Zattu, nine hundred forty and five.” (KJV) Nehemiah 7:13: “The children of Zattu, eight hundred forty and five.” (KJV) Again the contradiction is mathematical. Ezra states children of Zattu were 945 but Nehemiah states children of Zattu were 845, a difference of hundred children. Depends on Christians which one they want to go with. Contradiction number 10: 1 Corinthians 14:33: “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” (KJV) Yes you would be surprised by this, I am quoting the first verse which I quoted before, this is also contradicted by the following verses. Isaiah 45:7: “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” (KJV) 1 Samuel 16:14: “But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.” (KJV) 2: Thessalonians 2:11: “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” (KJV) Now this is not much of a contradiction, it is an argument, in one verse Paul says that God is not the author of Confusion but in Isaiah, Samuel and Thessolonians that, God creates Evil and Darkness and God also sends delusions and lies. Now the Christian would say, “You are proving our point, God shows delusion to those who deny him.” Well I do not disagree with their statement, that is what the Muslims say, but does it mean that God will change his Eternal Book that is according to the Christians BIBLE, such that people would not understand it? I do not think so. 13 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 11 Mark 10:27: “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” (KJV) ‘Matthew 19:26: “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” (KJV) Now compare these verses with the latter verse of Judges. Judges 1:19: “And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.” (KJV) Now Jesus says that GOD can do impossible things, but in Judges it states that GOD was not able to drive out some HUMANS because they had Iron chariots, itis a contradiction as well as an absurdity. Contradiction number 12: Numbers 23:19: “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” (KJV) 1 Samuel 15:35: “And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.” (KJV) Exodus 32:14: “And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.” (KJV) Now in Numbers it states that God does not repent but in Samuel and Exodus, God does repent. CONTRADICTION! 14 Community For Istamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradictions in the New Testament Now as most Christians state “Oh you are quoting the Old Testament, show me from the New Testament!” This is why I am making another section for it for the New ‘Testament. I would like to quote Sheikh Ahmed Deedat's words, that this section is for Hot Gospellers and Bible Thumpers. And as you are going through this book just remember the quotation from the Bible 1 Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not the author of confusion...” Contradiction number 1: Romans 2:20: “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall be no flesh justified in his sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” (KJV) Romans 2:28: “Therefore we can conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the Law.” (KJV) Romans 5:1: “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (KJV) Compare these verses with the latter verse of the New Testament that is; James 2:24: “Ye see then how by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.” (KJV) Now the contradiction is very clear. In the above mentioned three verses of the Romans, SAUL/PAUL the self appointed apostle states that the law or abiding by it does not make a person any better, because a man is justified by his/her Faith. But the later verse of James states that a person is not justified by Faith only but also through his work (abiding by the law). Now the Christian friends decide which one should we consider the right one? ‘The context is very clear so the Christian cannot claim us to have taken it out of context. 15 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 2. John 3:13: “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” (KJV) Now in this verse it states that no man has gone up to heaven, not even the son of Man that is Jesus. But if we look at the following verses it makes clear that Enoch and Elijah ascended to heaven. 2 Kings 2:11: “And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.” (KJV) Genesis 5:24: “And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.” (KJV) Contradiction number 3: 2 Chronicles 6:36: “If they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near;” (KJV) 1 John 3:9: “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” (KJV) Now compare the verses yourself, in Chronicles it states that no man is sinless but it is contradicted in John that man who is born of God does not commit sin. 16 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 4 ‘Matthew 1:6: “And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;” (KJV) Luke 3:31: “Which was the son of Melea, which was the son of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David,” (KJV) Now the verses stated above, Matthew states that Jesus descended from Solomon, but in Luke it states that Jesus came from Nathan, so the Question is that from which son of David did Jesus descend? Solomon or Nathan? ‘The contradiction is clear, either the Christian agree that there is a contradiction or take one of them to be true. (I know I am using this phrase many times “Laughter”) Contradiction number 4: John 19:17: “And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:” (KJV) Matthew 27:31-31: “31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. 32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: he was compelled to bear his cross.” (KJV) Now the contradiction here is that John says that Jesus carried his own cross, but Matthew records that SIMON OF CYRENE carried the cross of Jesus as he (Jesus) was tired. Which one is true? 17 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 5. Mark 6:52: “For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.” (KJV) John 6:14: “Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said," This is of a truth that the prophet should come into the world.” (KJV) Now this is one of hundreds of Contradictions in the New Testament. Mark tells that people did not change through seeing the miracle but John says that the miracle changed the heart of the people who were seeing it. Now which one is true? Did it change the people or did it not? 18 Community For islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 6 Matthew 10:2-6: “2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. 5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (KJV) Acts 15:7: “And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.” (KJV) So read Matthew in the verse above, it says that Peter was to preach to Israel that is the Jews but in Acts it is told to us that Peter preaches to Gentiles, now it is clear contradiction that in one verse he is to preach to Jews but in the other he is to preach the Gentiles. 19 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 7. Matthew 11:9: “But what went ye out to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.” (KJV) Matthew 17:12-13: “12 But I say unto you, That Elias has come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer for them. 13 Then the disciples understood that he spoke unto them of John the Baptist.” (KJV) Now compare the above verses with the latter ones. John 1:21: “And they asked him, " What then? Art thou Elias? And he said, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, ** No.” (KJV) ‘Now in Matthew verses it says that John the Baptist is Elias but in John itis stated that John is not Elias. Contradiction! 20 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 8 Matthew 27:6-7: And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. 7 And they took counsel, and brought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in” (KJV) Acts 1:16-19: “16 Men and brethren, this scripture must have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spoke before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. 17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. 18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. 19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, * The field of blood.” (KJV) Now Matthew says that the Chief Priests bought the field but in the Book of Acts we find out that it was Judas who bought the field. It is again a contradiction. Contradiction number 9: Matthew 27:5: “And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.” (KJV) Acts 1:18: “ Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.” (KJV) Now in these verses take a close look, Matthew says that Judas threw the money and hanged himself, but in Acts says that Judas took the Money and purchased a field. Another contradiction following the previous contradiction. 21 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Contradiction number 10 ‘Matthew 27:5: “And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.” (KJV) ‘Acts 1:18: Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.” (KJV) In the same verses mentioned above it is stated another contradiction, in Matthew it says that Judas hanged himself but in the Book of Acts it says that he fell off and burst his head. Mark 11:1; Luke 19:29 (KJV) Jesus went to Bethany and then Jerusalem. John 12:1,12 (KJV) 16, Jesus and his disciples taught in Capernaum, Mark 1:20,21 (KJV) Only Jesus taught in Capernaum. Matthew 4:18-20; Mark 1:16-18 (KJV) Peter was chosen, with James and John, by the lake of Gennesaret, Luke 5:2-11 Andrew chose Jesus and then got Peter to join. John 1:35-42 (KJV) ‘Now I gave you 12 Contradictions in the Old Testament and 11 in the New Testament in detail and 17 other contradictions in short, so in total we went through 40 of clear contradictions in the Bible. It does not mean that there are no more contradictions in the Bible, there are but I am quoting the most obvious ones. And do not think that these are the only obvious ones there are more than that, in the book further we will talk about them. The Bible is full of contradictions, but I do not know how it can be “Human and yet Divine.” ALLAH SWT says in the Quran Surah Nisa 4:82: “.Jf ithad been from [any] other than Allah , they would have found within it much contradiction.” God does not make mistakes, humans do. If we are to believe that the Bible is the true word of God there it should pass the tests of Non Contradiction which you have seen above, and their own Christian scholars also agree that it has been corrupted, as I told you about the 1957 and 1971 Revised Standard Version of the Bible that the 32 Scholars state that the Bible of King James Version has “GRAVE DEFECTS” and let's, agree that it does not have the defects now then how is it that the New Versions also contradict? We do not know what was the intention of the people who corrupted the Bible but we do know that it is not preserved. If a Christian claims that the Bible is corrupted then how come we find more than 50,000 errors in the Bible? I do not think that the answer is so hard, it is just that it is “NOT DIVINE” by taking out the Divine part from William Scroggie’s statement on the preservation of the Bible we get to know again that the Bible is “HUMAN.” And I do not think that after such clear proofs a man should disagree but this world needs more proof. So let’s move on and see what the Bible has to say on Morality, War and Children and Women. 24 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Chapter 2:- INnhumanity and Immorality in the Bible The Christians argue with Muslims a lot that “Jesus came to spread peace and he was not like your WARLORD PROPHET that fought wars.” But the problem is that if they read their Bible with sincerity they would know the words of Jesus more than ‘Muslims as you are also going to be one of the Muslims who know about this now, in the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 10 Verse 34, “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” (KJV) Now these are the words of, Jesus who is Eesa AS, but let's not take it out of context as our Christian brothers take OUR QURAN out of context. A Muslim can go and rant against the Christian that their GOD ie. Jesus (Nauzubillah) came to spread calamity, but the Christian will disagree with us taking the Bible verse out of context. In the next verses ie. Verse 35 and 36 of Gospel of Matthew, “For I am come to seta man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law, And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.” (KJV) Now the problem here is that the words of Jesus contradict the normal Christian thinking and how they tell us. In this chapter we will look at how the Bible states some inhumane things in the word of God. Let’s take a look. 25 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Incest and Brother/Sister Marriage Etsectr: Incest is a very nasty relationship and is thought to be very irrational as well as very immoral in society. According to Oxford Dictionary Incest is the following, “Sexual activity between two people who are very closely related in a family, for example, a brother and sister, or a father and daughter. incest between brother and sister.” Itis also condemned in Islam, as Quran states in Surah Al Furqaan Chapter 25 Verse 54, “It is He Who has created man from water: then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power (over all things).” Now in this verse Allah SWT states that he has created the relationship of Lineages that means the relationship of Mother, Sister, Father, Son etc different from the relationship of Marriages, meaning the relationship of Man and Woman but not between Family members. And I will quote a more clear verse from the Quran in Surah Nisa Chapter 4 Verse 23: “Prohibited to you (for marriage] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother's daughters, your sister’s daughters, your [milk] mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursing, your wives' mothers, and your step-daughters under your guardianship [born] of your wives unto whom you have gone in. But if you have not gone in unto them, there is no sin upon you. And [also prohibited are] the wives of your sons who are from your [own] loins, and that you take fin marriage] two sisters simultaneously, except for what has already occurred. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.” Now the Bible speaks about illegitimate relationships of Daughter and Father and Mother and Son, and on and on. But these people are not ordinary, they are the Prophets of God or the LORD. Yes! Prophets. It is a serious thing. Let’s look at what the Bible says about this, because they, the Christians need proof and Alhamdulillah their own Bible provides us with proof. 26 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Now if you can go to Genesis, Chapter 19 Verses 33 to 35, which states, “33 And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose. 34 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve the seed of our father. 35 And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.” (KJV) Now read it with an open mind, what do you see? Let me tell you, you see 3 verses of the BIBLE which CHRISTIAN claims to be the word of GOD, in which it says that the daughters of Lot (Arabic = Loot AS) went to their Father and got him drunk and slept with him one by one, first the elder daughter and then the second daughter, even if we try to look at it as in positive sense we would not be able to separate the fact that it promotes incest. And the words used for sexual intercourse in these verses are “Preserve the Seed” Or “Collecting the Seed” but if you go to the new versions of the Bible the word sexual intercourse is used. Let’s move on to the next one, which is Genesis Chapter 35 Verse 22: “ and it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah, his father's concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve” (KV) Now reading the mentioned verse it is another type of incest in the Bible, which is Son and Mother. The word “Lay” is used for sexual intercourse in KJV. Concubine and Wife are synonymous terms in the Bible. So it was the mother of Reuben whom he laid with 21 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Next type of incest in the Bible is in between Father in Law and Daughter in Law which is mentioned in the Bible in Genesis 38:15-18: “15 When Judah saw her, he thought her to be a harlot; because she had covered her face. 16 And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in unto me? 17 And he said, I will send thee a kid from the flock. And she said, Wilt thou give me a pledge, till thou send it? 18 And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it to her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.” (KJV) Now when Judah saw Tamar who was her Daughter in Law he thought that she was a prostitute (Harlot) because her face was covered, so Judah take her to a corner of the road and asks her how much would you charge (for prostitution) ? Now Judah does not know that it is his Daughter in Law. So Tamar in Verse 16, asks how much would you pay me? So Judah says I would give you a young goat from his flock, so Tamar says first give some assurity to her until he gives her the goat, so Judah asks what surety do you want? So Tamar asks him of his bracelets and his staff as the surety and then Tamar and Judah had INTERCOURSE and became pregnant, and if you go to Matthew Chapter 1 Verse 3, “And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;” (KJV) out of this incestious relationship came two twins who were the GREAT GRANDFATHERS of JESUS. 28 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Next type of Incest mentioned in the Bible is Brother and Sister, let's have a look at 2 Samuel 13:11-14, “11 And when she had brought them unto him to eat, he took hold of her, and said unto her, Come lie with me, my sister. 12 And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not thou this folly. 13 And I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? And as for thee, thou shalt be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray thee, speak unto the king; for he will not withhold me from thee. 14 Howbeit he would not hearken unto her voice: but, being stronger than she, forced her, and lay with her.” ‘The verses are clear, they are the ultimate guide to make an already Lost man to become more Lost. And I would repeat my words as I said before that even if we take it as a positive thing, we cannot change the fact that it is promoting incest. There is another type of incest in the BIBLE which was done by Abraham. Look at the following verses. In Genesis 12:19: “Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to my wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.” (KJV) And in Genesis 20:12: “And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.” (KJV) In the verses above stated, Prophet Abraham also had incest (Astaghfirullah) but according to the BIBLE, not according to MUSLIMS or the QURAN. These are just some, go to the next page for more like them. It clearly shows how Christianity promotes this nasty relationship. Following are some verses having more examples of incestious relationships. 2 Samuel 16:22: “So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father's concubines in the sight of all Israel.” (KJV) (Remember Concubine is synonym for Wife in the Bible) 29 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Leviticus 18:8-18: “8 The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness. 9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover. 10 The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness. 11 The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. 12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father’s near kinswoman 13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman. 14 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt. 15 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son’s wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. 16 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness. 17 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness. 18 Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.” (KJV) These are some more various types of incest mentioned in the Bible, and these verses clearly state that it should not be done, but it happens in the Bible which is the WORD OF GOD. Take more examples... 30 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Leviticus 20:11-14: “11 And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them: 12 And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them. 13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. 14 And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.” (KJV) Leviticus 20:17-21: “17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity. 18 And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people. 19 And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity. 20 And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless. 21 And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.” (KJV) e hath Bible gives you a whole lot of types of incest. 31 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Jesus and his manners according to THE BIBLE Jesus was a one of the greatest messenger of Allah SWT, and that is what the belief of common Muslim is. We believe that he was sent to preach the Gospel which was revealed to him by Allah SWT and to tell the people about the right thing, that is to worship one God, but CHRISTIANS took him (Jesus) as a GOD, but we Muslims do not take him as such In this section we will consult what were the manners of Jesus which are written in the Bible. 1) In the Bible Jesus’s first miracle is that he turns water into wine when he was at the marriage in Cana, this is mentioned in the Bible in Gospel of John Chapter 2 Verse 9, “When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,"(KJV) but if we look in the Quran his first miracle is defending his Mother against the accusations of people, which is mentioned in the Quran in Surah Maryam Chapter 19 Verse 30, “(Jesus] said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah . He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.” But according to the Bible his first miracle was making Water into Wine and the Christians try to convince the Muslims with false quotations from the Hadiths that Prophet Muhammad SAW drank alcohol, it should shut them up that the first miracle of Jesus was to turn WATER INTO WINE. 2) If you ask an average Christian that how Jesus spoke to the elders, in the sense that how was his manners, the average reply that you and I can expect is, “He was very sweet and his manners were great according to the Bible.” So let’s take a glimpse of the Bible. Matthew 16:4: “A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas, And he left them, and departed.” (KJV) 32 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge ‘Matthew 23:13: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.” (KJV) ‘Matthew 23:27: “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.” (KJV) Matthew 23:33: “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?” (KJV) See in these verses, Jesus is talking to Elders of Jews, that is how the Bible tells that how Jesus calls the Elders of the Jews: VIPERS, SERPENT, HYPOCRITES, WICKED, ADULTEROUS GENERATION. But the average Christian might not agree, because they would say that Jesus was talking to them because they did not believe in the right thing, ok so let's take that into consideration. Take a look at the next mentioned verse. John 8:10: “When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?” (Ky) Here Jesus is addressing a prostitute with the name “WOMAN” and now look at the next verse. John 2:4: “Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour has not yet come.” (KJV) Now here Jesus confronts her own Mother “MARY” in the same manner he confronted a prostitute. Now the Christian cannot argue that Mary was not believing, this shows that the Bible gets the character of Jesus wrong. 33 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Children in the Bible Children are the most innocent beings in the World, which Allah SWT has made. The Prophet Muhammad SAW PBUH said which is mentioned in Kanzul Ummal, “For every tree, there is a fruit and the fruit of the heart is the child.” Even in war or in JIHAD itis prohibited to kill Children and Women. But let’s see what the GOD of the Bible commands. 1) Children in War: Psalm 137:9: “Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.” (KJV) Now look at how GOD orders to kill Children, the simple question is what has children got to do with the war, why are they being cursed to be killed? 2 Kings 2:23: “23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.” (KJV) 1 Samuel 15:2-3: “2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. 3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.” (KJV) What was the point of killing small children and all anim Hosea 13:16: “ Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.” (KJV) Here it is told that the pregnant women will be ripped apart, along with their children, 34 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge 2) Illegitimate Children (Bastards): Now once a Christian told me that Bastards are to be killed, on asking him why he thinks so, so he says because the Bible says so. Let’s check it out. Deuteronomy 23:2: “A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord.” (KJV) Zechariah 9:6: “And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.” (KJV) Now the Question occurs: what is the problem of a BASTARD or what is the BASTARD’s sin which two other people did? 35 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Women in the Bible Women are another blessing of Allah SWT, look at the quote below by the close companion of Prophet Muhammad SAW, Umar [bn Al Khattab RA said, “Women are not garment you wear and undress however you like. They are honored and have their rights.” So we would talk about Women in the Bible in this section, so let’s go with it. 1 Timothy 2:12: “But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” (KJV) 1 Corinthians 14:34-35: “34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for i shame for women to speak in the church.” (KJV) isa Women are not allowed to talk, they are to keep silent. Let’s move on to the next ones Matthew 5:32: “But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.” (KJV) Ifa man is marrying a divorced woman he is committing adultery in the eyes of God as the BIBLE says. Paul says in 1 Corinthians Chapter 11 Verse 9, “Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.” (KJV) Now check this verse, it says that Woman is created just to serve for man, or just for man. Which is mentioned in Ephesians Chapter 5 Verse 22, “ Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.” (KJV) And the suffering of the woman when she is being given birth to a child is because Eve ate the fruit of the tree, and this is told in the BIBLE in Genesis Chapter 3 Verse 16: “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” 36 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge And this one is for the secular Christians who see scarf or headgear as a form of oppression as their own self appointed APOSTLE PAUL says 1 Corinthians Chapter 11 Verse 6: “For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.” that if a woman does not cover her head, her head should be shaved off, but if she does then let her be. And itis also mentioned in Leviticus Chapter 12 Verses 1 to 5 that the birth of a female is double the pollution, it is written that when a male is born the woman is unclean for 1 week but when a female is born the woman is impure for 2 weeks. 37 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Chapter 3:- Promise Unfulfilled This chapter is a small one, which I would tell you from the Bible about what happened with Prophet Abraham. Genesis 17:8: “And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou arta stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” (KJV) Genesis 13:15: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.” (KJV) Exodus 32:13: “ Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.” (KJV) Genesis and Exodus states that Abraham would receive land in Canaan (Palestine) but in the following verse, GOD OF THE BIBLE did not give him any land. Acts 7:5: “And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.” (KJV) An unfulfilled promise by GOD OF THE BIBLE. 38 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Chapter 4:- Alcohol in the Bible Alcohol is the devil’s handiwork, which is mentioned in the QURAN in Surah Maidah Chapter 5 Verse 90. I once saw a video on the YouTube that a Christian was trying hard to prove that the QURAN supports alcohol and Prophet Muhammad SAW PBUH used to drink alcohol (Nauzubillah, Astaghfirullah), he was boasting that, “I have proof” so I decided to go through his proof, but the problem was he was quoting it all wrong, he even mistranslated Hadiths from English to Urdu. He was trying hard but was not able to do so, you can check out my refutation on that on my channel, “https:/www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_DfO2rbizw” So moving on it happened out that his own BIBLE supports ALCOHOL and they try to criticise ISLAM of what is not even there in ISLAM. If you remember the first miracle of Jesus in the wedding of CANA, where he turned WATER INTO ALCOHOL (WINE). Proverbs 31:6-7: “6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. 7 Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.” Alcohol is preferred over Water. 1 Timothy 5:23: “Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.” GOD OF THE BIBLE is commanding to drink ALCOHOL, while Alhamdulillah our QURAN tells us that ALCOHOL is the DEVIL’s HANDIWORK. 39 Community For Istamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Chapter 4:- How does the Bible see Apostasy? Christians argue against the MUSLIMS on the law of apostasy. But they do not know that their own BIBLE says the same thing. And let not tenderness for them deter you from what pertains to Allah's religion, if you do truly believe in Allah and the Last Day; and let a party of believers witness their punishment.” In the Bible there are many verses which talk about adultery and if you look at them it looks like it is promoting adultery. Let’s have a look at them. 2 Samuel 11:4: “And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.” (KJV) Also read 2 Samuel Chapter 11 Verses 6 to 25 where it tells David after doing the horrible act causes the death of Uriah who was the husband of Bathsheba, And also see Genesis Chapter 38 Verse 8 (0 9, “8 And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother. 9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.” (KJV) Again Adultery is mentioned in the Bible between Brother and Sister which is a type of incest too. In 2 Samuel Chapter 13 Verse 14: “Howbeit he would not hearken unto her voice: being stronger than she, forced her, and lay with her.” (KJV) For clarification this verse is talking about Amnon who was one of the sons of David who forced his sister Tamar to commit adultery. ut, 41 Community For Istamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge And again it is mentioned in 2 Samuel Chapter 16 Verse 22, “So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father's concubines in the sight of all Israel.” Here a son forces one of his Father’s Concubine (Concubine is used as a synonym for Wife in the Bible) and commits adultery in front of the people. Even GOD commits adultery in the BIBLE, in Genesis Chapter 21 Verses 1 to 2, “1 And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. 2 For Sarah conceived, and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.” Unto is used for intercourse in this verse. 42 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Chapter 6:- Homosexuality in the Bible Again another nasty thing which is prohibited by Allah SWT in the Quran in Surah Araf Chapter 7 Verse 81: “You approach men lustfully in place of women. You are people who exceed all bounds.” And the Bible also condemns it but in a different manner, it states that Homosexuality is the punishment of GOD to the people. If you do not believe me you can read the following verses from the Holy Bible. Romans 1:25: “25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. CHRISTIANS are to the extent of criticizing the same thing again and again but they do not read their OWN BIBLE. If you ever meet a Christian that is criticising Islam baselessly about Slavery and stuff just give him or her these following verses Leviticus 25:46: “And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigor.” «yyy And the next one is the most critiqued one near me. Numbers 31:17-18: “17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. 18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.” (KJV) But if the Christian out of Cunningness says that it says WOMEN CHILDREN, give them the Revised Standard Version of the verse. Numbers 31:17-18: “17 Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him. 18 But all the young girls who have not known man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.” (RSV) Now the translation is clear, that GOD commands them to keep the young girls who are virgins for themselves, and another part of immorality arises when GOD says he has a share in this too. 45 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Numbers 31:40; “And the persons were sixteen thousand; of which the Lord’s tribute was thirty and two persons.” (KJV) Now the question is WHAT GOD HAS TO DO WITH VIRGINS? The question is what were the Palestinians doing? Judges 15:15-16: “15 And he found a fresh jawbone of an ass, and put out his hand and seized it, and with ithe slew a thousand men. 16 And Samson said. “With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jawbone of an ass. have I slain a thousand men.” (RSV) 47 Community For Istamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Only question that comes to mind is: How did he do that? With the jawbone of a donkey he kills 1000 Palestinians. And another question is what were the Palesitinians doing when he was killing them? Revelation 13:1-2: “1 And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems upon its horns and a blasphemous name upon its heads. 2 And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, its feet were like a bear's, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth, And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority.” (RSV) Seven headed leopard! 2 Kings 18:27; “But the Rab’shakeh said to them, “Has my master sent me to speak these words to your master and to you, and not to the men sitting on the wall, who are doomed with you to eat their own dung and to drink their own urine?” (RSV) Isaiah 36:12: “But the Rab'shakeh said, “Has my master sent me to speak these words to your master and to you, and not to the men sitting on the wall, who are doomed with you to eat their own dung and drink their own urine?” (RSV) Isaiah and Kings talk about eating dung and drinking piss! Malachi 2:3: “Behold, I will rebuke your offspring, and spread dung upon your faces, the dung of your offerings, and I will put you out of my presence.” (RSV) And I think in Malachi GOD is talking about Hindus! Ezekiel 4:12-15: “12 And you shall eat itas a barley cake, baking it in their sight on human dung.” 13 And the Lord said, “Thus shall the people of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations whither I will drive them.” 14 Then I said, “Ah Lord God! behold, I have never defiled myself; from my youth up till now I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has foul flesh come into my mouth.” 15 Then he said to me, “See, I will let you have cow’s dung instead of human dung, on which you may prepare your bread.” (RSV) Eating CAKE with DUNG! 48 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Chapter 9:- Cruci-Fiction And Resurrection in the Bible CRUCIFIXION is the most important belief in the religion of CHRISTIANITY such that if there is no CRUCIFIXION, there is no CHRISTIANITY. The long awaited Messiah (Jesus) OR (Eesa AS PBUH) died on a cross between two thieves, naked and bare and then rose from the dead 3 days later. As Paul depicts and says in 1 Corinthians 15:17: “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.” (RSV), itis clear that Paul inserted the ideology of CRUCIFIXION into the minds of CHRISTIANS. Concept of Crucifixion in the Quran The concept of CRUCIFIXION in the QURAN is crystal clear, the Noble QURAN says in Surah Nisa Chapter 4 Verse 157 to 158: “1 And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. 2Rather, Allah raised him to Himself, And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.” It is also mentioned in the Quran in Surah Ali Imran Chapter 3 Verse 55 that Allah SWT raised JESUS, ALIVE, INTACT with the PHYSICAL BODY OF JESUS. As Muslims our belief is firm that Allah SWT would never have his SERVANTS, SLAVES, PROPHETS or MESSENGERS to face such a DISRESPECTING, DISHONOURED, HUMILIATING and PAINFUL DEATH. Instead the QURAN tells us about how Allah SWT (GOD) saved his Messengers and Servants from such a death. Such as escape of ‘Moosa AS PBUH (Moses) from Egypt and Phiraun, Nuh AS PBUH (Noah) making an ark and surviving the great flood, Lut AS PBUH (Lot) escaping from the city of HOMOSEXUALS and more and more. 49 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge But it does not mean that the Prophets or Messengers or Servants of GOD cannot face death, yes they can, anything can happen. Just as it is mentioned in Surah Bagaralh Chapter 2 Verse 87, Surah Ali Imran Chapter 3 Verse 21, and Surah Maidah Chapter 5 Verse 70. Itis also mentioned in the QURAN in Surah Ali lmran Chapter 3 Verse 144 that even Prophet Muhammad SAW PBUH can be killed. And it is also mentioned in the Bible in Matthew Chapter 23 Verse 37: “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to youl...” The Christian might ask you now that if any Prophet or Messenger can die or they can be slain or killed, then why does the QURAN state in Surah Nisa that Jesus was not CRUCIFIED or NOR WAS HE KILLED? The answer is just as simple as a straight line, that he was NOT KILLED, NOR WAS HE CRUCIFIED. That is what we will be discussing in this chapter. Concept of Crucifixion in the Bible Iwas talking to a Muslim Brother, Brother Jamal and I quote him, “I think CRUCIFIXION is itself a CONTRADICTION.” And I totally agree with his point. Now let’s go through two theories. One is the Swoon Theory, in which we prove that Jesus was on the cross but did not die, the second one is the Substitute Theory in which we prove that Jesus was not the one who was crucified but someone else who was crucified, We will go through both of the theories to understand the concept of false crucifixion. 50 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Swoon Theory SWOON THEORY is less famous among scholars but itis still very much effective. Swoon Theory means or depicts that, “Jesus fainted on the cross but never died, he woke up or gained consciousness in the cave.” This theory utilizes whole of the BIBLICAL CONSENT that why is why I also like to call this theory “Biblical Logical Theory” Sheikh Ahmed Deedat did a lot of work on this theory, taking his work on the book “Crucifixion or Cruci-Fiction” We will go through this theory and how it refutes Crucifixion. SIGN OF JONAH ‘The SIGN OF JONAH is one of the first and most important aspects of the SWOON THEORY. There are many miracles which JESUS performed, as described by the GOSPELS, such as making Water into Wine, and such miracles which are also mentioned in the QURAN like giving the life to dead people with the grant of GOD. Now his greatest MIRACLE mentioned in the Bible is the SIGN OF JONAH! A Christian would disagree, and he would say that the GREATEST MIRACLE of JESUS was rising from the dead. Let’s take a look at the Bible in Matthew Chapter 12 Verse 39-40: “39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (KJV) Now the above mentioned verses tells us, that some Pharisees (Hypocrites) come to JESUS and ask for some signs, or a miracle but JESUS rebukes them because he knows that the HYPOCRITES will not believe even if the signs are shown to them. Disbelievers always ask for signs but never believe in them even when they are clear to them. As it is mentioned in Surah Ar Raad Chapter 13 Verse 27: “The unbelievers say; Why is not a sign sent down to him from his LORD?” Now Jesus knew that a physical miracle would not be enough for the Hypocrites, so he told his greatest and everlasting miracle which is the SIGN OF JONAH. 51 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge To understand the Miracle of JESUS, we need to examine the story of JONAH. God instructed Jonah to go to Nineveh and teach them the message of God and rebuke them on their wickedness, but instead of doing that he goes to Joppa and gets on a boat to Tarshish. Reasons are not given why he did that in the Bible. While he was on the boat a great storm arose and people on the boat assumed that a person had brought evil omen with them, so they casted lots of names on the boat to find out who the person was, and the blame fell on Jonah as expected. Jonah told them that he is the slave of his LORD who ran away. And he told the people on the boat that, they should throw him in the sea. So the Bible tells us that the people on the boat, were hesitating but they threw Jonah in the sea asking repentance from GOD that the blame is not on them for Jonah’s life, which is mentioned in the Bible in Jonah. Chapter 1 Verse 14: “Wherefore they cried unto the Lord, and said, We beseech thee, 0 Lord, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, 0 Lord, hast done as it pleased thee.” (KJV) And now compare the verse with Pilate’s remarks, washing his hands from the death of JESUS, In Matthew Chapter 27 Verse 24: “When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.” (KJV) And also in order to save many people, sacrifice of one man would be better as it is mentioned in the Bible by the High Priest Caiaphas in John Chapter 11 Verse 50: “Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.” (KJV) 52 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge If we compare this verse with Jonah Chapter 1 it clearly fits. Now back to the story of Jonah, you might ask what is so great in it? As we are aware Jonah was swallowed by a whale where he spent 3 days and 3 nights in the remembrance of the LORD until when he said in Jonalt Chapter 2 Verse 9: “Salvation is of the LORD.” (KJV) the whale on the order of GOD vomits Jonah onto dry land. And then Jonah went on to Nineveh and preached to them and they all became believers. As Jesus says in Luke Chapter 11 Verse 30: “For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.” (KJV) Now imagine that if you and I were on the boat and we saw Jonah being swallowed by a whale, the first thought that would come in our mind would be that he is dead. But then after 3 days we see him walking in the streets of Nineveh. The questions in our minds would be; 1) Is Jonah a Ghost? 2) Has he been resurrected? But remember Jonah was alive in the belly of of the fish, but those who were on the boat it looked as if he had died, as Allah SWT says in Surah Nisa Chapter 4 Verse 157: «but it was made to appear to them so..” on the crucifixion of Jesus, that if Jesus was on the cross, it ooked to the people that if he was dead. And as the appearance that Jonah was thought to be dead. And as the appearance that Jonah was thought to be dead was applicable to Jesus as he himself proclaimed in Luke Chapter 11 Verse 30 as we discussed before. But yet if you ask any Christian that how Jesus was in the heart of the Earth, they would say “DEAD!” Christians might want to convince you that Jesus was referring to the time factor, not the physical condition of Jona meaning that “Jesus meant that he will be entombed for 3 days and 3 nights as Jonah was in the belly of the fist.” But going toa tomb for 3 days and 3 nights and emerging is not a miracle. You and I can do that. ‘The real miracle of Jonah was he was supposed to die, buthe did not and proved to Ninevites the power of his GOD by escaping death and then the Ninevites got convinced of his Prophetic mission and then repented. Same was the case with Jesus that he proved the power of HIS FATHER (GOD) and proved to be the true Messiah by conquering death on the cross. 53 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge a) i) TIME FACTOR? Gospels do not agree with the statement of JESUS on 3 days and 3 nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH, If Jesus was crucified on Good Friday, placed into a tomb on the start of Sabbath, and then resurrected on Sunday, which makes it 2 nights and 1 day not 3 days and 3 nights. If the Christian argues that Jesus did not want his statement to be taken literally then ask them, “If Jesus did not want us to have his statement taken literally then how do they claim that Jesus was referring to the time factor when he was emphasizing his greatest miracle?” b) LUKE ON RESURRECTION AND SPIRITUALITY Luke tells us in Chapter 24 Verses 36-43: “36 And as they thus spoke, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. 38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. 40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. 41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? 42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. 43 And he took it, and did eat before them.” (KJV) Ittells us that Jesus came to the upper room, and when the disciples saw him they were afraid as if they had seen a ghost. Now why did the disciples think of him as a Ghost when Jesus looked no different than before? Let’s look at the story of Jonah, as we supposed that if you and I were on the boat and we saw that Jonah is being swallowed by a big whale, WHAT WOULD WE THINK? We would think he is dead. But when we see him walking on the streets of Nineveh, WHAT WOULD WE THINK? We would think he is a GHOST! This is exactly what happened with the disciples of JESUS. So Jesus tells them, making their hearts at ease, “38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.” 54 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge He is saying why are they afraid of him, he tells them to look at his hands and feet and see he is the same physical JESUS who was before, but the disciples yet do not get satisfied, so Jesus asks for some food and he eats it. Now the Christian might ask what point we are trying to make, Wallahi! They are desperate to talk. So ask them, “What does eating prove?” The answer is that he was the same physical JESUS who was before. Now they would not be arguing about it that much, they agree that, “It was the same physical Jesus because he was physically resurrected!” But do physically resurrected bodies want nourishment of nature? Or do they need food to eat and stuff? Well you cannot convince a Christian without quoting Jesus, so let’s consult Jesus of the BIBLE. When some Jews came to Jesus and asked him a question about a woman who married 7 brothers consecutively, so Jesus told them what would happen in the next world, let’s take a look at his response. Matthew 22:30: “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.” (KJV) Mark 12:25: “For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.” (KJV) “34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:” (KJV) From the above verses we get to know clearly RESURRECTED BODIES become SPIRITUALIZED or in the words of JESUS they become like ANGELS. So if Jesus was resurrected then it means he must be spiritualized but he disagrees in Luke Chapter 24 as mentioned before, that he is not a SPIRIT. Yet! The Christians say that JESUS was spiritualized. They are making the same mistake as the disciples made who thought that JESUS was a spirit. Well if the Christian still does not agree then you can quote them their MASTER PAUL, 1 Corinthians Chapter 15 Verses 35 to AA. 55 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge ©) LAZARUS’ Now Christian can ask you, “What about Lazarus? Because he was also resurrected physically by Jesus and he was also not made spiritualized.” Of course Lazarus was physically resurrected, but he died twice and he is dead now. Let’s look at Paul in Hebrews 9 Verse 27: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (KJV) Everyone dies ONCE! The Christian must agree that there is clear contradiction in his, own BIBLE or he or she could admit that Lazarus was resurrected the same way as Jesus was, meaning physical but yet spiritual. But the problem is, it is a lose lose situation, ) 3 POSSIBILITIES! Either Jesus was resurrected physically and was spiritualized, but Jesus denies it. Christians state that Jesus was physically resurrected but also spiritualized, but Jesus denies that and also proves it in Luke Chapter 24, John mentions that Jesus came through a closed door, in thin air. But only a spiritually resurrected body can do that, but Jesus denies that, so who would be lying here? John or Jesus? Let’s suppose if Jesus was physically resurrected, and he was also spiritualized, ask any Christian if Pharisees or anyone of his enemies saw him would it be possible for them to kill him again? If they answer, “No! Because he was immortal and we can only die once.” Ask them if Jesus was spiritualized, and the Christian says, “No!” then remind him that all immortal beings are spiritualized, as mentioned in Gospel of John Chapter 4 Verse 24, “God is spirit!” (KJV) and then if they say Yes then you have trapped them, because Jesus denies being a spirit in Luke Chapter 24 Third one is that Jesus escaped Death and was not killed but was saved by GOD. 56 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge e) EVIDENCE FOR JONAS RESURRECTION ROLLED AWAY STONE Mark 16:3-4: “3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher? 4.And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.” (KJV) If Jesus was spiritualized as Christians claim, then he could simply go through the ston, why did the stone need to be rolled? It would be a great miracle that he got out without rolling the stone. Now the Christian might want to make you believe that Matthew in Chapter 28 Verse 2, “And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.” (KJV) but there is a contradiction because Mark tells that the stone was already rolled away, also |uke Chapter 24 Verse 2 and John Chapter 20 Verse 2. HEIS ALIVE (AHMED DEEDAT) Mark 16:11: “And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.” (KJV) The disciples are told by the woman that Jesus is alive and risen. Greek for risen is “Engeiro” or to arouse from sleep. And in Matthew Chapter 27 Verse 63: “Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.” (KJV) Look at the verses below where it says Jesus was ALIVE. Luke 24:23: “And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.” (KJV) Acts 1:3: “To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:” (KJV) Luke 24:5: “And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?” (KJV) Jesus being referred to as being alive rather than resurrected shows that he was alive and the same physical Jesus as he was before. 57 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge JESUS IN DISGUISE Jolin 20:15: “Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.” (KJV) When Mary Magdalene went into the sepulcher she was not able to recognize him as she thought of Jesus as a gardener, so ask the Christian whom you are talking to, that if spiritually resurrected bodies take the appearance of a gardener? If they say no then why did Mary think that he was a gardener? It is because Jesus was disguised, so that the Jews might not try to kill him again. If he became spirit he would have no reason to fear, buthe disguises himself so he can be safe from the Jews. Luke also says in Chapter 24 Verse 15 to 16: “15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. 16 But their eyes were held that they should not know him.” (KJV) That Jesus was going with 2 of his disciples who had known Jesus for almost 3 years, failed to recognize him because he was still in the guise of the gardener, which clearly shows his fear from the Jews that they might catch him, it shows that Jesus was never killed nor was he resurrected. 58 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge WOMEN RESCUERS Mary Magdalene, Mary the Mother of James, and Salome went to the garden tomb for a special reason. According to the Gospels these three women were present with Joseph of Arimathaea on the time of crucifixion that was on the Good Friday. If the Swoon Theory is correct then these women must have seen a glimpse of life in Jesus. Mark says in Chapter 15 Verse 44, that when the news of the death of Jesus reached Pilate he was shocked because he knew that it took a couple of days to die on the cross but Jesus had been on it for just some hours, Mark also tells us in the further verses that it was the same Joseph of Arimathaea who went to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus. It can be that he knew with the 3 women who were with him that JESUS WAS ALIVE! ‘And he wanted the body of Jesus to help Jesus. But if the Christian says that, “Romans were gifted in this practice, of knowing if the person was dead or not, and Pilate confirmed it that Jesus was dead.” But if God wants it he says, “BE!” and it happens. Then it can be the possibility that Jesus was alive and the Romans were not able to detect it and quoting the QURAN now in Surah Nisa Chapter 4 Verse 157: “..but it was made to appear to them so...” Read the following verses now. ‘Mark 16:1: “And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.” (KJV) Here Mark tells us that the 3 women go to the tomb to anoint the body of Jesus, the question is why would they want to anoint the dead corpse? Isn’t it clear that the women came to the tomb to help Jesus who fulfilled the sign of Jonah? As Jolin goes in Chapter 19 Verse 39: “And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.” (KJV) John says that Jesus was already anointed, then what is the meaning of Mark saying that Jesus was anointed, also Luke in Chapter 24 Verse 1 states the same as Mark. Mark and Luke tell us that the 3 women came to anoint Jesus but Matthew and John do not tell what was the purpose of the visit. Either they can agree to the theory or agree that the Bible is not clear and has contradictions. 59 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Ifyou remember in Jolin Chapter 20 Verse 15, “Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.” (KJV) When Mary was crying and Jesus who was in disguise asked her that why is she crying so Mary thinking that Jesus is a gardener, says, “She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.” What was the intention of Mary to carry Jesus? And now let’s suppose that John’s statement of anointment is true, then Mary would need to carry more than 200 pounds of weight, 100 pounds of Myrrh and Aloes and more than 100 pounds of Jesus’ weight of Jesus all by herself. As for the disciples they got afraid of seeing Jesus and thought of him as a spirit, but Mary, a WOMAN, becomes joyful when learning that Jesus is alive. NOT BROKEN “32 Then came the soldiers, and broke the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him 33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:” (KJV) 1) Crossmates of Jesus were alive 2) Jesus’s unbroken leg would be helpful to him if he was ALIVE! Ask the Christian that if itis possible that God made the soldier see that Jesus is dead and he did not break the leg of Jesus? The Christian might say that Jesus was physically raised yet immortal, he was incorruptible yet not spiritual. Christians like to tell us the verses that Jesus says that he would die. Or they would say that Jesus prophesied these events. Mark 9:9: “And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man was risen from the dead.” (KJV) Luke 18:33: “And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.” (KJV) Mark 9:31: “For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.” (KJV) ‘The Christians would say that these are clear enough. Ask them if they are figurative, non-literal or figurative. Christian would want to run after that, or he might scream, “Isn’t it obvious? Are you Muslims blind?” Of course when Jesus says that he speaks clearly, everyone understands it. But what did the disciples think of after listening to Jesus, as mentioned in Mark and Luke? Let’s have a look! Mark 9:10: “And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.” (KJV) Luke 18:34: “And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.” (KJV) ‘Mark 9:32: “But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.” (KJV) It shows us that the disciples did not understand Jesus as much, and if we can rephrase it, for them a dead Messiah is not a Messiah at all. ‘There are numerous places in which Jesus uses the word DEAD metaphorically. Luke 9:60: “Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.” (KJV) A Scribe (Jew) comes to Jesus thathe wants to follow him but he asks Jesus's permission to bury his dead father first so Jesus said “Let the dead bury their dead” the use of the word DEAD is figuratively meaning let the people who are spiritually dead, who do not follow the right faith. There are more verses in the Bible where dying or death is taken as figurative. Take a look at them all. 64 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Matthew 9:24: “He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. Christians belief is that the Crucifixion of Jesus was timed thousands of years ago even before the creation of Adam and Eve. They believe that the Crucifixion of Jesus was already scheduled. They also believe that the Son and Father made a contract that the Son would go to the world and die. If it was all pre-ordained then the most greatest saint of all Christendom would be Judas Iscariot, because he was the one who made it happen, but yet Jesus calls poor Iscariot a traitor. Who knows if Jesus wanted to die or not? Look at the verses below where Jesus is asking for his Life. ‘Matthew 26:39: “And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” (KJV) Mark 14:36: “And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.” (KJV) Luke 22:42: “Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” (KJV) If Jesus made a pact with the Father then why does he ask for the cup to pass from him? Why does he pray to be saved? According to Jesus himself if a person or a faithful person asks from his LORD or the God then the LORD gives them. He also states that if one asks for bread GOD will not give them stone. You can read the verses below; Luke 11:11; “Ifa son shall ask bread of any of you thats a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?” (KJV) Luke 11:9: “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” (KJV) John 11:22: “But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.” (KJV) Yet even at the point of death he denies to be crucified and states, ‘Matthew 27:46: “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” «yy If Jesus was going to willingly sacrifice himself then why did he deny being crucified? Jesus says a righteous person’s prayer does not go astray, but his own prayer was not fulfilled? Or it was fulfilled, that is why he was saved. Now let’s go to Substitute Theory. 66 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Substitute Theory This theory is most popular near the Scholars. It states that Jesus was not on the cross but it was someone else who got Crucified. Substitute theory cannot be proved on the biblical standpoint that much. Luke 23:26: “And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.” (K]V) ‘Mark 15:21: “And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.” (KJV) Matthew 27:32: “And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.” (KJV) Now as the Christian belief is, that Jesus was so tired that a man named Simon of Cyrene is asked to carry the cross for Jesus. Can it be the possibility that Simon of Cyrene was crucified instead of Jesus? Because the Gospels do not tell us what happened to him after the crucifixion. John does not make any mention of Simon at all, and states that Jesus carried his own cross. Again it is a major contradiction. John 19:17: “And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:” (KJV) Either Mark, Luke and Matthew are lying or John is lying. But if we take the statement of Mark, Luke and Matthew, then the question occurs: who was Simon of Cyrene? Again it can be the same thing that HE was crucified, by the Roman soldiers instead of Jesus. Can’t it be the possibility that GOD heard the prayers of Jesus and someone else was made to bear crucifixion? Another issue arises that the Son of Simon, Alexander is despised by Paul very much. 1 Timothy 1:20; “Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.” (KJV) 2 Timothy 4:14: “Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:” (KJV) If Paul despises Alexander that much, it can be of the fact that Alexander would have opposed the doctrine that Jesus was not crucified and his FATHER who was SIMON OF CYRENE was crucified instead of Jesus. But Allahu Alam what happened, there are many contradictions in the Bible in the story of crucifixion that NO SANE PERSON can agree to it. 67 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Either the Gospel of John was written to tie up the loose ends in the story of the crucifixion of Jesus or the others are false. 68 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge False Old Testament Prophecies Christians tend to quote Old Testament as prophecies to convince us of the crucifixion that it was already prophesied. Let’s take a look at them and check if they really are the prophecies of crucifixion. 30 PIECES OF SILVER Christians believe that the prophecy of Zecharia in Chapter 11 Verses 12 to 13, is fulfilled in Matthew Chapter 27 Verse 9. Let’s check both of the verses out. Zecharia 11:12-13: “12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver, 13 And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.” (KJV) ‘Matthew 27:9: “Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;” (KJV) Now the problem is that Matthew is talking about Zecharia but he is quoting about Jeremiah! Jeremiah 32:9: “And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle's son, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.”(K]V) Well that is definitely not GOD speaking! 69 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Isaiah 53 When one of our brothers was talking to a Christian, he quoted Isaiah Chapter 53. He says that it portrays the prophecy that Jesus would die. Let’s read it and refute it at once, Isaiah 53: “1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him asa tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 Buthe was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought, asa lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt, make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” (KJV) 10 Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge First remember that Isaiah 53 is not talking about the Messiah, Isaiah Chapter 52 does talk about the Messiah, not Isaiah 53. Let's analyze this so-called prophecy. Isaiah 53:3: “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.” (KJV) According to Isaiah, Jesus must be despised and rejected by all men. But in Luke Chapter 10 Verse 1 itis told, “After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.” (KJV) Now here it tells us that the LORD the GOD himself appointed 70 followers to Jesus. And in other places like John 6:9-11 and Luke 17:11-19 that he had healed thousands of people and helped them through which he gained followers. Isaiah 53:5: “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (KJV) Now Christian might want to argue that Isaiah 53 talks about Jesus getting killed, but here it says that he would be wounded. Killed or murdered or dying is not used, then it means that he would not die but would be wounded. Isaiah 53:7: “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.” (KJV) Now this verse says that he will not open his mouth or will not speak through out when he is being put to death but when we compare this with the case of of Jesus it does not fit because he did cried to his Lord and spoke against the Crucifixion because he did not wanted to die which is mentioned in Matthew 27:46 therefore it is not talking about Jesus. Also try to refer to Matthew 16:39, Matthew 26:36-44 and Luke 6:12, Isaiah 53:7 says he will not object but in the Bible Jesus does object against the crucifixion. Isaiah 53:9: “And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.” (KJV) Now this is a mis-translated verse. The word used is “IN HIS DEATH” which is mistranslated, the real word is “IN DEATH” and compare the KJV with Young's literal translation Tl Community For Islamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Isaiah 53:9: “And it appointed with the wicked his grave, And with the rich are his high places, Because he hath done no violence, Nor is deceit in his mouth.” (Young's Literal Translation) So itis a clear mistranslation problem. And “IN DEATH” here is pointing towards his trial not his physical death In this verse it also states that he would be buried but we know that Jesus was never buried but he was placed in a tomb which is mentioned in Matthew 27:59-66, ‘Matthew 28 from where he disappeared. And even if a Christian tries to make a dumb claim that Jesus in the tomb refers to being as buried it still does not fulfill the so-called prophecy that he would be among, the rich because his tomb was in an isolated place meaning he was buried or placed in that tomb alone. Isaiah 53:10-11: “40 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.” (KJV) Here it says that Jesus would see his children and God will prolong his days but according to Christians he did not live and he died. Therefore this is not the prophecy for Jesus. Isaiah 53:12: “Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shalll divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” (KJV) Given the previous chapters of this book where we discussed it is clear that he was not crucified but if we interpret the verse, Jesus would be forced towards death but he would pray and GOD will listen and will carry him alive saving him from the painful death. 72 Community For Istamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Disciples ran away Mark 14:50: “And they all forsook him, and fled.” (KJV) Matthew 26:56: “But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.” (KJV) It contradicts Jolin 19:26: “When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!” ayy) Now either the Synoptics are lying or John is lying. Psalm 22 Itstates: “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?...For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet... They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.” (KJV) (Verses 1,16,18) Now remember that this prophecy does not mention God’s anointed one which means the Messiah, it is not a Messianic prophecy but just a cherry picked verse from the Old Testament. 73 Community For Istamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Psalm 34 Christian think that John 19:33-36, “33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: 34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. 35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. 36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.” (KJV) talks about Psalms 34:17-19, “47 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. 18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all? IV) But the word ALL is used in Psalms 34, and it talks about the Lord hearing the cries of the Believers and he gives them what they ask for, so therefore this is not comparable to John 19 and it cannot be considered as a prophecy. 74 Community For Istamic Research Rabbi Zidni Ima Oh My Allah increase me in Knowledge Messianic True Old Testament Prophecies Now Messianic prophecies are the true prophecies which can be related to Jesus's crucifixion or death.
