 PREFACE

Praise and gratitude for the presence of Allah SWT who has bestowed
His grace and guidance which has provided many opportunities, so that we can
complete this report in order to fulfill a group assignment for English subjects,
with the title “KOMODO ISLAND”.

We realize that the writing of this paper cannot be separated from the
help of many people who sincerely provide prayers, suggestions and criticisms
so that this paper can be completed.

We are fully aware that this paper is far from perfect due to our limited
experience and knowledge. Therefore we expect all forms of suggestions and
input and even constructive criticism from various parties. Finally, we hope that
this paper will be useful for the development of the world of education.

 DEFINITION

Komodo Island is an island located in the Nusa Tenggara Islands, east of

Sumbawa Island, which is separated by the Sape Strait. Komodo Island is
known as the original habitat for Komodo dragons. This island is one of the
Komodo National Park areas managed by the Central Government.

DISCUSSION

Komodo Island is one of the Komodo National Park areas managed by

the Central Government. Besides Komodo dragons, various types of animals
such as wild pigs, buffalo, and birds can also be found on this island. and we
can also relax while enjoying the beauty of white sand, climbing hills, or

walking through the mangrove forest because on the island not only the beauty
of the fauna and flora but also the natural beauty that really spoils our sense of
sight.

but based on our observations, the island of Komodo is currently minimally

visited by tourists because the number of Komodo dragons is not so much.
Another factor that caused the island of Komodo to be empty of visitors was the
occurrence of the corona virus 2 years ago, and also the extinction of a Komodo
dragon that is difficult to breed.

 SOLUTION

From the results of observations, the solution for Komodo Island to avoid
extinction is the preservation of Komodo dragons, among others, carrying out
Komodo dragon breeding, prohibiting hunting and trading of Komodo dragons,
providing education to the public about Komodo dragons.

CONCLUSION

the conclusion is that we as Indonesian citizens must preserve nature

properly and correctly, because that is the only Indonesian heritage we have
today.

CLOSURE

Thus, we can describe the material that is the subject of this paper, there are still
many shortcomings and weaknesses, due to limited knowledge and lack of
references or references that have to do with the title of this paper.
