 12. Adventure Sports Zone and Backwater Resort at Kappil

India is fast emerging as one of the most popular adventure sports destination in the
world. Kerala offers immense opportunities for an adventure traveller, who is looking for
a varied experience. The topography of Kerala is diverse that varies from mountains on
the one hand to midlands and sea on the other hand. Kerala has immense potential for
adventure sports. Right from mountaineering, trekking, paragliding and rafting to scuba
diving, Kerala promises to offer the discerning traveller an experience that will last a
lifetime . Some of the most popular adventure sport activities are Angling and Fishing,
Cycling and Motor Biking, Gliding, Rafting, Trekking, Skiing, Scuba Diving and
Snorkeling. A backwater resort may also be planned along with it.

Location:

Kappil is the north-west border town

of Thiruvananthapuram district. Scenic
backwaters, beach and facilities for
watersport are available. The proximity
to Varkala is an added advantage
