To inform the airlines about the new ROUTER PARAM software (30TX)
which:
- for ARINC provider:
• implements the new Ground VHF stations,
• changes the name of the DSP ARINC Europe (ARI-EUR) in ARINC
Europe/Africa (ARI-E/A),
- for SITA provider, implements the new Ground VHF stations.

New ROUTER PARAM software (PNR LA2T0J00000Q0F1) applicable to ATSU

software configuration:
- CSB2.2B (PRE FANS) certified on the Single Aisle Aircraft family.

New ROUTER PARAM software (PNR LA2T0J00003P0F1) applicable to ATSU

software configurations:
- CSB4 (PRE FANS+), CSB4 (FANS A+) certified on the Single Aisle
Aircraft family,
- CLR4.6 or CLR4.7 (PRE FANS+), CLR4.6 or CLR4.7 (FANS A+) certified
on the Long Range Aircraft family.
New ROUTER PARAM software (PNR LA2T0J00004G0F1) applicable to ATSU
software configuration:
- CSB5 (FANS B) certified on the Single Aisle Aircraft family.

for CSB5 Configuration) WHICH IMPLEMENTS THE NEW GROUND
VHF STATION (ARINC AND SITA PROVIDERS)

1. GENERAL
This Service Information Letter is issued to inform the airlines
about the new Ground VHF stations installed by ARINC and SITA
providers in the world and implemented by AIRBUS Operations
S.A.S. - Avionics and Simulation Products, for supplying the
updated ROUTER PARAM software (30TX).

The ATSU software configurations are certified and delivered with

ATSU ROUTER PARAM software (30TX):
- on the A320 A/C family
• PNR LA2T0J00000B0F1, LA2T0J00000C0F1 or LA2T0J00000J0F1
(CSB2.2B)
• PNR LA2T0J00003B0F1 or LA2T0J00003K0F1 (CSB4)
• PNR LA2T0J00004A0F1 or LA2T0J00004C0F1 (CSB5)
- on the A330/A340 or A340-500/A340-600 A/C family
• PNR LA2T0J00003B0F1 or LA2T0J00003K0F1 (CLR4.6 or CLR4.7).
AIRBUS Operations S.A.S. - Avionics and Simulation Products
proposes a service offer to update this ATSU ROUTER PARAM
software regularly.
This service uses a quality process based on the requirements
defined in RTCA DO-200A/EUROCAE ED-76 which specifies the minimum
standards and guidance for processing aeronautical data.

This service is proposed to the customer by a new revision of the

current SIL (F6198-46-006).

The airworthiness authorities have approved such a process and

supplying updated ATSU ROUTER PARAM software does not require
additional certification of updated ATSU ROUTER PARAM software.

2. EFFECTIVITY

- applicable from the (CSB2.2B PRE FANS) ATSU software
configuration.
- applicable from the (CSB4 PRE FANS+) ATSU software
configuration and subsequent.
- applicable from the (CSB4 FANS A+) ATSU software

- applicable from the (CSB5 FANS B) ATSU software configuration.
For A330/A340 or A340-500/A340-600 A/C family:
- applicable from the (CLR4.6 or CLR4.7 PRE FANS+) ATSU

4. DESCRIPTION

ATSU ROUTER PARAM Software (FIN 30TX) contains two files

dedicated to the ACARS Router Function configuration and
operation:

- DSP (Data link Service Providers) World Map file which

comprises:

• the Media Configuration Tables (MCT) of each medium: VHF,

SATCOM and HF air/ground protocol parameters and MCDU
definition of each VHF DSP.
• the VHF World Map which contains a breakdown of the earth
into geographical zones and the list of the regional VHF
DSPs available within each zone.

- ARF (ATSU Router Function) Customization file.

With ATSU ROUTER PARAM Software, the list of the regional VHF
DSPs available within each zone is the list available at the
creation date of ATSU ROUTER PARAM Software.

The SITA and ARINC Providers update this list regularly.

AIRBUS Operations S.A.S. - Avionics and Simulation has to
update the ATSU ROUTER PARAM software to implement the new
Ground VHF stations.

5. DESCRIPTION OF PROCESS

Regularly, the ARINC and SITA providers inform AIRBUS Operations

S.A.S. - Avionics and Simulation Products on the new Ground VHF
stations in order to produce new ATSU ROUTER PARAM Software.
The Service activities of AIRBUS Operations S.A.S. - Avionics and
Simulation Products, consist in:

- Analyzing the new DSP World Map file.

- Defining and managing the new PNR of updated ATSU ROUTER PARAM
Software.
- Generating, checking and archiving the master floppy disk.
- Producing, controlling and delivering the duplicated and
labeled floppy disks.
- Providing Authorized Release Certificate/Airworthiness Approval
Tag.
- Updating the current SIL to present the new coverages
extension.

6. PRICE
Prices of materials: Upon request.

The duplication of disks is the full responsibility of the

airline.
AIRBUS OPERATIONS S.A.S. supplies sets of disks that contain
guaranteed data.
Due to the transportation costs, do not return the old disks to
AIRBUS OPERATIONS S.A.S. - Avionics and Simulation Products. The
old disks will have to be destroyed by the customer.

Lead-time: 45 days upon receipt of the Order.
