Dear Retailers,

In preparation for the New Year’s Eve celebrations in Downtown Dubai, we would like to remind you of the
operational timings for New Year’s Eve 2022-2023 and share the following operational updates:

Mall Trading Hours:

Saturday 31st of December 2022
Retailers’ Sector Saturday 31st of December 2022
All Retailers 10:00 am to 1:00 am
Metro Link Bridge Retailers 10:00 am to 10:00 pm
All F&B, including Promenade and
10:00 am to 2:00 am
Downtown Kitchen
Banks As per Central Bank regulations

Access to The Dubai Mall and Downtown Area will be heavily restricted. Therefore, we advise all retailers to
come to the mall before 3PM and carry a valid Emirates ID and proof of employment to allow smooth access.
Please note that all timings are subject to change by the Dubai Authorities.

• Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard will close by 5:00 pm on the 31st of December 2022 and reopen at
1:00 am on the 1st of January 2023
• Dubai Mall Metro station operating timing is subject to RTA confirmation on 31st of December 2022, and
based on Dubai Mall capacity, it will reopen at 5:00 am on the 1st of January 2023. Financial Center
and Business Bay metro stations may also be closed depending on the crowd
• Retailer car lift drop off and pick up will be unavailable from 3:00 pm on the 31st of December 2022
until 1:00 am on the 1st of January 2023 alternatively, you may inform your respective transportation
service that the other location for drop off and pic up will be Zabeel expansion and Dubai Mall metro
station based on the road closure
• All Dubai Mall parking areas, including the Zabeel parking and Fountain views will be accessible for
customers from 7:00 am until roads closures up on Authorities' confirmation
• From 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, entering and exiting the Dubai Mall will be possible only via Upper Financial
Road
• All retailer staff recommend parking their cars in Zabeel parking in the morning before 10:00 am;
however, Emaar square and Boulevard Plaza 1 will be available
• All loading bays will be inaccessible from 11:30 am onwards on the 31st of December 2022 until
6:00 am on the 1st of January 2023

Please be reminded that no works are permitted by either the tenant or any contractor during the day or night
of Thursday, the 31st of December 2020.

HOW TO BE PREPARED AND STAY SAFE FOR NEW

YEAR’S EVE
For the safety of you and your customers please follow these simple steps:

1. Ensure all staff know what to do in the event of an emergency

2. Make sure extinguishers and manual call points are unobstructed
3. Keep your exit routes and doors clear
4. Locate the nearest TDM common area fire exits

In the event of an emergency:

1. Move people to safety quickly

2. Use a fire extinguisher if safe to do so
3. Evacuate your unit and follow the directions of the security staff
4. Proceed to the assembly points on Promenade, Grand Drive, and Boulevard
5. Call TDM Security on 04 449 1919
