Remove
1 Unscrew cap from coolant expansion reservoir
and relieve pressure from engine cooling
system
2 Tilt cab
3 Clean area surrounding coolant filter housing
(1)
4 Unscrew screw cap (2)
5 Remove threaded cap (2) with coolant filter
element and unclip filter element Ensure that no foreign objects enter the
coolant filter housing (1).
Malfunction or damage can occur otherwise.
Install
6 Replace sealing ring on threaded cap (2)
7 Insert new filter element into threaded cap (2)

8 Screw in threaded cap (2) with filter element Threaded cap at coolant filter housing *BA20.00-N-1013-02D
and tighten
Check
9 Lower cab
10 Start engine and check for leaktightness of
coolant filter
11 Confirm filter change in maintenance booklet
or in the DSB
