Ethical Considerations

How will you ensure that your research upholds research ethics?
The researchers will uphold all the ethical considerations throughout the execution of this study.
To ensure that this study follows research ethical standards including scientific integrity,
research validity, and protecting the rights of participants the researchers will:
 Carry out formal consent on the respondents before giving them the questionnaires and
will give them the right to not continue participating in the study if they do not want to
 Ensure the anonymity of the respondents if they choose not to reveal their identity
 Uphold the Data Privacy Act of 2012 as a guide to protect the information of respondents
at all costs and will only collect information that is parallel to the objectives of this study
 Keep all information of respondents confidential especially to those respondents who will
confirm their diagnosis of PCOS
 Practice honesty and objectivity upon doing the study and will not involve personal
preferences or any unethical practices that will jeopardize the validity and integrity of this
study
Upholding and ensuring integrity with its direct and indirect stakeholders, the researchers will
strictly follow research procedures heavily accompanied by ethical standards.
