Dear Sir:
We are contacting you to request sponsorship for our upcoming event.

I.D.E.A. fair will host a rocket science workshop, titled Journey of Wau Rocketry. This workshop will deliver
knowledge and exposure on rocket designing and rocket launching to the participants as well as the trials and
tribulations of USM’s rocketry team “Wau Rocketry”. This workshop aims to inspire more USM students who
love rocket science to pursue their passion, which will contribute to the university’s rocketry development.
The details of the workshop are as follows:

Date: 14th January 2023 (Saturday)

Time: 10.00 am – 1.00 pm
Venue: Bilik EEK3 Pusat Pengajaran Kejuruteraan Elektrik dan Elektronik

In this workshop, we will invite the chairperson of team Wau Rocketry USM, Vanmitha Athimoolam to give a
speech. She has led her team consisting of talented students from all engineering schools in USM and was
ranked 7th in the 10000ft COTS category and 12th out of the 99 teams in the world's largest intercollegiate
rocket engineering conference and competition in the Spaceport America Cup 2022. After the honorable speech
from Vanmitha Athimoolam, there will be a rocket-designing tutorial session where participants have the
chance to build and launch their own water rockets.

We are humbly seeking sponsorship of RM50 from your school. As a sponsor of the Journey of Wau Rocketry
event, your school will have the opportunity to reach a diverse and engaged audience of individuals who are
passionate about science, technology, and the history of the rocketry team from USM. Your sponsorship will help
to fund the event and ensure that it is a success. In addition to that, support from your school would very much
instill a strong value of confidence of support from students of your school who are in or considering joining the
USM Wau Rocketry Team. Attached below this letter is the allocation of funds to cover the expenses of the
