Opening Remark
The meeting started at 8:12 am with an opening prayer by Mr. Akpan Itoro. The meeting agenda
was adopted by Mr. Louis Okperiruisi and seconded by Mr. Benson Odoh (HOD). The minutes of the
last meeting were adopted also by Mr. Louis Okperiruisi and seconded by Mr. Itoro Akpan

Highlights/ Key Issues Discussed:

 We discussed how to move one system to a place where we have two new systems to
maximize computer usage.

 We also looked at departments/unit/individual that needs a new system.

 The issue of system management was discussed extensively, most especially how to do the
swapping/ moving of the system in a way that will not affect the work of the current user.
 Mr. Itoro talked about the continuation of sensitization of all system users on the proper
 shutdown of the system and shutting down of UPS at the close of work.
 Mr. Benson (HOD) said there is a need to go around and continue talking to staff on the issue
of improper shutting down of UPS. He also mentioned that consequence management will be
melted on any individual or group of users that’s fun of defaulting this rule.
 We also discussed the frequent breakdown of the photocopier machine on the ground floor
due to user misuse.
 Finally, we also discuss the issue of call-out.

Mr. Louis also suggested that we should print more notices and paste them in the area where we
do not have notices anymore as this will help users to be abreast with the shutdown procedure.

Summary/Conclusion/Closing Remarks:
Mr. Louis Okperiruisi moved for the adjournment of the meeting and it was seconded by Mr.
Benson Odoh. The closing prayer was said by Mr. Itoro Akpan
