Je suis capable de comprendre le récit de voyage de quelqu’un et ses conseils.

Cat and Joe are British citizens who have lived in Australia for 6 months.
They tell us about their Aussie experiences on the website
www.walkmyworld.com.
The Amazing Northern Territory
We are now travelling in the Northern Territory and we love it!
5 We started our trip in Alice Springs and we have travelled south toward the centre
of Australia. For us, this region is the most beautiful and interesting place in
Australia!
We’ve gone hiking in the Outback where our only companions were kangaroos,
camels, brumbies (horses) and even the odd dingo. We’ve also swum in one of the
coolest natural water holes. You can’t imagine the sunrises and sunsets we have
seen.
10 For a truly special experience, you should spend a day at The Kangaroo Sanctuary
in Alice Springs. This magical place rescue orphaned baby kangaroos (joeys). We
were lucky to follow one of the caretakers through his day. It’s a must-do!
Now we’re at Uluru.
The best place to start is to get up close with the Uluru Base Walk. We’ve hiked the
10km
15 track which is completely flat and goes all the way round Uluru.

It is only when we got so close that we realised just how big Uluru really is! It’s
absolutely enormous. If you ever come to Australia, you should visit it!

Hello Readers!
Here I am in London, England. I’ve had the most amazing
week with my family. We’ve seen lots of famous monuments
and we’ve done some typically British things.
We’ve already been to Buckingham Palace. We didn’t see
the Queen, but we saw the Changing of the Guard. In fact, I
haven’t seen anyone famous yet. Maybe, I will see
someone at Madame Tussauds this afternoon.
We’ve eaten some typically British food. Fish and chips, of
course! Have you ever tried it? You should taste it one day.
It is quite different to French food.
I haven’t seen any wildlife yet, but tomorrow we are
going to the countryside. My mum says we can spot wildlife
there. I want to see a squirrel of a fox.
Speak soon,

AUDIO
Danny: Hello, and welcome to my audio blog. For
the ones who don’t know me, my name’s Danny
and I’m 15 years old. I travel a lot with my
parents, and on my blog, I talk about our trips. As
the ones who follow me on a regular basis know,
we have already been to Europe: we have visited
Italy, Spain and Germany, but
there is a continent that we haven’t visited yet. Do
you remember which one it is? No? It’s Oceania! I
can’t wait to travel Down Under, and especially… I
can’t wait to visit Australia! One of my biggest
dreams is to go scuba diving on the Great Barrier
Reef: it’s one of the best
places to spot marine wildlife. As you know, I am not
very brave, and I’m afraid of heights, so I don’t think
I’m going to try bungee jumping, but I am definitely
cycling in the Australian Outback. It’s going to be
amazing! Well, I think I’ll need a lot of water: the
Outback is one of the hottest places in Australia! You
know… when I’m older; I’ll either be a zookeeper or a
marine biologist, that’s my dream.
Even though I’d rather be a zookeeper than a
biologist… Anyway, for this reason, a must-see place
to visit for me is Taronga Zoo in Sydney. I’ll have a
great time with koalas and wombats. It will be
awesome!
EXPRESSION ORALE EN CONTINU
PRODUCTION POSSIBLE
Hi everyone, I‘m here in sunny Sydney with my family and
I’m having the best time. Over the last few days, I’ve
visited the city. I’ve been to Bondi Beach of course! The
surfers, the sun, the ocean… everything is perfect!
I’ve been to Taronga Zoo too. It is so cool. In
Australia, they have the weirdest animals: kangaroos,
wombats, koalas. My favourite Aussie animal
is a platypus. Have
you ever seen one? Anyway, see you after the holidays!

EXPRESSION ORALE EN INTERACTION

PRODUCTION POSSIBLE
Student A: Hi and welcome to ‘Extraordinary animals!’
Today in the studio we have our resident animal expert.
Student B: Hi and thank you for having me.
Student A: How can we spot Australian animals in the wild?
Student B: Good question. All animals are different of
course. However, the most important piece of advice is that
you should respect the animal’s habitat. If they do not
feel safe, they will hide, or worse, attack.
Student A: Got it. You should be very quiet.
Student B: That’s right. Don’t scare the animals with loud
noises or quick movements.
Student A: What about feeding the animals in the wild?
Student B: You shouldn’t feed wild animals. Many of them
are more dangerous than they look. Be careful.
Student A: Okay. Finally, what is your favourite animal?
Student B: All of them are my favourites! I love them all.
