While wearing this amulet, you can use an action to speak a command word, causing light to shine from the amber colored jewel on your palm. The amulet sheds bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. The light lasts until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again. Hand of Mercy (Requires Attunement). As your level increases, you gain the following benefits while wearing this amulet. 5th level. As an action you can use the amulets effect to cast a radiant shield onto yourself or an ally you can see within 30 feet of you. The shield lasts for 1 minute and during that time, the shield imposes disadvantage on ranged weapon attacks that target those affected by the shield. If you are the target of a ranged spell attack of 1st level or higher, the shield halves the damage you or the target of shield takes and dissipates, unless the spell requires you to make a saving throw. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your charisma modifier and regains uses of it at the next dawn. 9th level. You or the target of the shield now gain a +1 to you or the targets ac. In addition, you can use an action to cast the orb of light spell from the amulet. Once used, the amulet can’t be used in this way again until the next dawn. 13th level. You or the target of the shield now gain a +2 to you or the targets ac instead of the +1. In addition, you or whomever is targeted by the shield may use a reaction to expend it to succeed on a saving throw needed to avoid damage from a damaging spell. You may also now target up to two people or one other person and yourself at the cost of expending one use per person. 17th level. You or the target of the shield now gain a +3 to you or the targets ac instead of the +2. In addition, you may use an action to heal yourself or a target of your shield for up to 3d8 + your charisma modifier. You may also now target up to three people or two others and yourself at the cost of expending one use per person.
