RSO Newsletter 8 3
RSO Newsletter 8 3
We hope you are doing well and staying safe during this very worrisome and confusing time. We
know you have so many questions about how Student Organizations will function this fall, for
instance, how you will recruit new members, hold meetings, host events, and run elections. As we
begin to know more at UWRF, information will be made available to students on this site:
https://www.uwrf.edu/Falcons-Forward/Student-Events-and-Activities.cfm. Once a few more details
are confirmed, we will use that information to begin to provide more direction for Student
Organizations. In the meantime, we are excited to begin our weekly newsletters!
In this newsletter, we are eager to share our new software MyOrgs with you! This new software is the
replacement to FalconSync and will be the new platform your organizations use. We recognize that
using new software takes some time, so below we have provided first steps to help you familiarize
yourself with MyOrgs. Please feel free to reach out to our office with any questions.
Log on to MyOrgs today and familiarize yourself with the system so you are ready for the new year! Go
to https://myorgs.uwrf.edu/ and take a look around! You will log in with the same credentials as your
campus email.
Once you log on to MyOrgs, here are a few important tips that will help you navigate:
Tools: on the home page, you will notice that your account is already updated to show all the
organizations you are a part of! These are listed as memberships. Click one of the orgs you belong to
and start looking around!
Next, click “manage organization” in the top right corner and you’ll have access to many tools to
update your site.

In the top left, you will see a menu button that looks like this:
Clicking this menu button will help you find everything you need to manage your organization.
Functions like events, elections, and finances can all be found under this menu.
Events: By clicking this tab you can see a list of events happening on campus. You can even filter and
search through these results! More information about submitting your org events (so they are listed)
will be provided soon!
Organizations: If you want to look at other organizations or cannot find your own, this tab will help
you find them! Like the events page, you can filter and sort through the results and make it easier to
find what you are looking for.
Forms: On this section you can find forms for your organization. Come here to complete important
surveys and documents like the class absence notification form!
To help your organization members and potential new members recognize you, here’s how to add a
profile picture!
1. From the home page, click the blank circular icon in the top right of the screen
2. Next, click where it says your name at the top of the pop-out list
3. On the right side of the screen, click “choose file” under where it says profile picture
All your org positions transferred when we switched over to MyOrgs, but we need your help to make
sure everything is correct! Please follow the steps below and make sure your positions are all listed
correctly.
4. open the menu in the top left of the screen using this button-

Budgets
While navigating and exploring our new MyOrgs website, you may notice that you cannot find or are
unable to access your organization’s budget. Don’t worry, all of your budgets are okay and we are
currently updating the software to reflect your budget. If you have questions about your budget
please email Steph at stephanie.kaminski@uwrf.edu .
Continue to check your email as we will be sending out weekly newsletters with important
information and resources.
Stay safe,
