    Tugas Basic Grammar

    1. Simple past tense digunakan untuk menunjukkan kejadian yang sudah terjadi di masa lalu.
    Past continuous tense digunakan untuk menunjukkan kejadian yang sedang terjadi di masa
    lampau.

    EXAMPLE :

    Simple Past tense :


    (+) I Played Football
    (-) I Did not/Didn’t Play Football
    (?) : Did i Play Football?
    Past Continuos :
    (+) : He was playing Basketball
    (-): He was not/He wasn’t playing Basketball
    (?): Was he playing Basketball?

    2. Kalau present continuous tense membahas tentang kejadian yang sedang berlangsung di
    masa sekarang, maka past continuous tense adalah tenses untuk menyatakan suatu peristiwa
    atau kejadian yang sedang terjadi di masa lalu ( past) selama waktu tertentu.

    EXAMPLE :

    Present Continuous :

    (+) i am making a glass of ice tea


    (-) i am not making a glass of ice tea
    (?) am i making a glass of ice tea ?

    Past Continuous :
    (+) they were studying english
    (-) they weren’t studying english
    (?) were they studying english ?
