Constitutional Law I – Poster Project:

Rules and guidelines
1. Group ground rules
a. All groups must consist of not more than 6 members (unless with permission)
b. All members of the group must from within the same tutorial session
c. The composition of the group should be the same group that being formed for
tutorial activities during the first week of the trimester.
d. Members of the group should appoint a group leader for the purpose of the project.
e. The project will be running for 3 weeks in total.

2. Questions/theme
a. Each group can choose either one of these following themes:
i. Movement Control Order (MCO) and Rule of Law in Malaysia
ii. The role of Yang Dipertuan Agong in managing political crisis in Malaysia
according to the Federal Constitution
iii. The role of Federal Constitution in curbing fake news in Malaysia
iv. The role of Judicial Appointment Commission in Malaysia : An appraisal
and analysis
3. The poster
a. Poster should be designed based on the question/theme assigned
b. The content of the poster must include:
i. Name of the theme
ii. Name of the group members
iii. Introduction to the research
iv. Discussion of the research
v. Conclusion of the research
vi. References
c. Creativity on the design of the poster is encouraged
d. Once completed, the poster have to be uploaded in the designated Google drive
folder later by Friday, 5pm, 20/1/2023

4. The presentation
a. All presentation must be recorded, and to be uploaded in the designated Google
drive folder later.
b. All groups are given 10 minutes to present their poster.
c. At least one representative from each group is required to present the content of
the poster.
d. The dateline of the submission of the recording is at Friday, 5pm, 20/1/2023.

5. The rubric and the marks

a. The project carries 20% from the entire coursework marks. The marks are divided as
follows:
i. Leadership (ability to divide task, complete deadline on time, compliance to
the rule etc) = 5%

ii. Teamwork (ability to work together, communication in the google sites etc)
= 5%
iii. Critical thinking skills (the content of the poster to relate with current social
scenario) = 5%
iv. Oral presentation skills ( manner of presentation skills, confidence, time
management, clarity, design of the poster, questions and answer skill etc) =
5%
