PROJECT: CNG(CBG) + BIO FERTILIZER MANUFACTURING

(Waste Processing Capacity upto 50TPD)

SUBMITTED BY : NGE LTD.

GLOBAL SCENARIO
Currently we are living in a world which is struggling with many challenges to lead a better life. Energy is the driving force
behind every countries growth and development to give its citizens a quality life and resources. It is primarily consumed in
Household, industrial & automobile sectors. Over 80% of world’s energy requirement is generated through fossil fuel
including coal, oil & natural gas which are limited in availability. Oil & gas is expected to get exhausted in next 50 years &
coal will be finished in about next 115 years. Carbon emission is growing in both developed & developing countries with
global average per capita carbon emission at 4.17 t per year which is resulting in multiple health, environmental challenges.

What are we leaving behind for future generation is the question?

Use of fossil fuels has lead to many challenges which is having far reaching effect on the world like

Rising Green
House Gas
Higher
Ocean Temperatures
acidification &
Change In
Whether
Impact Of Fossil
Fuel Usage

Pollution
& Crop failure
Diseases

Economic
Disruption

Currently world is using 10% of traditional bio mass, 8% of modern renewable & 2% nuclear source to generate energy.
Research reveals that world is shifting its focus to new renewable resources for energy generation .Transportation sector
uses 96% of fuel which is non renewable It is expected to shift to 58% renewable energy by 2050 which will include 22% of
bio fuels.

INDIA AT GLANCE
India is a developing country with growing GDP. It will need 9% world energy to feed its growth by 2035. This growth is
accompanied by multiple challenges like waste generation, pollution, growing vehicles, oil imports, loss of foreign exchange
global warming etc. which is adversely affecting all of us.

Waste Generation: Waste generation is an acute problem which we are facing due to lack of waste management &
waste processing. We generate organic, non organic waste which leads to pollution in air, water, land which is affecting
individual health & environment. India produces 62 million Ton annually of waste out of which 20% of it treated & 40%
used for land filling.
Rising Pollution: India is facing hazardous pollution level due to industrial, construction, transport sectors &
also by burning of crop residue. Most of Indian metros come fall in list of top 20 polluted cities in world. Air,
water, soil are getting contaminated due to lack of focus and management to control these factors. About 25
Lakh people die due to diseases caused by pollution

Growth in Automobile Sector: India is the fourth largest automobile market with sale of about 25 million
vehicles in 2018. Industry is growing at a rate of 7% per annum with over 80% contribution of two wheelers
which is growing Vehicular emissions

High Fuel Prices: As fuel is the backbone of industrial, transport & households increase in its price directly
has far reaching implications.

Increasing Fuel Imports: India will account for 9% of world energy consumption by 2035. Currently over 80%
of oil & gas is imported which is growing our dependence on it annually resulting in foreign exchange erosion
& adverse impact on balance of trade.

Rising Global Temperature : Increase in Green House Gases & lack of regulations to curb emission of gases
by industries and vehicles is impacting environment Government is taking multiple initiatives like SATAT for
converting waste to CBG, FAME to promote electric vehicles , Paris commitment reduce carbon emission ,
Swach Bharat to for cleanliness . Households, Industry & transport sector are also actively working to create a
clean & green planet.

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA IS TAKING MULTIPLE INITIATIVES TO HAVE CLEAN,

HEALTHY, EMPOWERED ENVIRIONMENT & SOCIETY
Swach Bharat: The initiative taken by government to have clean, healthy & hygienic environment is a drive
based on footprints of Mahatma Gandhi which is creating a wave of change at ground level manage waste
generated.

Paris Climate Agreement: Government has committed to reduce carbon emission by 30% by 2030 which is
again shifting focus to find new green energy source.

SATAT: The initiative is aimed at providing a Sustainable Alternative towards Affordable Transportation
(SATAT) as a developmental effort that would benefit vehicle-users as well as farmers and entrepreneurs. It will
promote Compressed Bio-Gas as an alternative, green transport fuel.
