Q.3) Why we use VLOOKUP in MS Excel.

The VLOOKUP function in Excel is a tool for looking up a piece of information in a table or data set and
extracting some corresponding data/information. In simple terms for example, the VLOOKUP function
says the following to Excel: “Look for this piece of information (e.g., bananas), in this data set (a table),
and tell me some corresponding information about it (e.g., the price of bananas)”.

Q.4) What is Mail Merge in MS Word?

Mail Merge is a handy feature that incorporates data from both Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
and allows you to create multiple documents at once, such as letters, saving you the time and effort of
retyping the same letter over and over.

OR

Mail merge primarily automates the process of sending bulk mail to

customers, subscribers or general individuals.

Mail merge works with two documents, the data file and the letter template.
The data file includes the information of the recipients to whom the letter is
to be sent. This file can be a spreadsheet or database file containing
separate fields for each different type of information to be merged within the
letter.

The second file is the word document or the letter template. The recipients'
information on the letter template is kept empty. When the mail merge
process is initiated, the recipients' data from the spreadsheet or database
data file is fetched and placed within the empty field in the letter, one by
one, until all letters are created.

Q.2) Write down the difference between Record Slide and Rehearse Timing.

You can rehearse your presentation to make sure that it fits within a certain time frame. While you
rehearse, use the Slide Timing feature to record the time that you need to present each slide, and
then use the recorded times to advance the slides automatically when you give your presentation to
your actual audience.
OR

Rehearse timing is a feature which allows one to record the time of slide preparation. It automatically
records the time and present the slides in the orderly manner and keep them on screen for the set time.
The rehearse time provide an advantage to record audio with each presentation slide. The amount of time
that one spends on each slide is recorded and allows you to save the timing to run the show automatically.

The Record Slide Show feature is similar to the Rehearse Timings feature, but it's a bit more
comprehensive. If you have a microphone for your computer, you can record voiceover narration for the
entire presentation. This is useful if you plan to use your slide show as a self-running presentation or
video.
