Minutes of Meeting

Meeting Description
A coordination top management meeting of was held at the Site of Sodic Eastown on 21st August,
2019 between Rowad Modern Engineering (RME) and Consukorra Co. S.A.E (KORRA), to discuss the
following:

Minutes of Meetings:
I. Postponement/Delay of Submissions
a. Shop Drawings
1. Only 7 out of 35 shop drawings are submitted from KORRA’s side till date.
(mechanical/electrical).
2. Mechanical shop drawings are delayed from KORRA’s side as they focused on
submitting the Electrical shop drawings.
3. KORRA shall submit a recovery plan for shop drawings submittals by 22nd August,
2019 while considering the early start as a datum. KORRA shall consider that time
float are not for its sole use.
4. Periodical tracking sheets from RME’s side -in regards to shop drawing
submittals- shall be sent to KORRA’s side, so that parties can follow up with the
relevant submittals.

b. Material submittals and delivery of Long lead items 22


1. Air handling unit to be submittedaccess
by KORRA maximum by 23rd August, 2019.
2. Material submittal of DX and Axis control are behind schedule by 2 weeks.
However, KORRA has promised to recover the aforementioned delay during the
delivery. Accordingly, delivery period of the aforementioned equipment shall be
2 2.5 months instead of 3 months.
3. KORRA shall submit a recovery plan in this regard by 22nd August, 2019 while
considering the early start as a datum while considering that time float is not for
its sole use.
4. All material submittals of the long lead items and 1st fix shall be submitted
Maximum by 31st August, 2019.
5. KORRA shall finalize the issue of verification/datasheet of long lead items with
Employer’s right after the meeting (21st August, 2019)
6. The recovery plan for material submittals shall be submitted for RME’s
assessment and approval, to be used as a reference for both parties (RME and
KORRA) until the Employer’s approval of the Baseline Schedule.

c. Supplier Approval Request (SAR)


1. Supports of 1st fix
- KORRA has submitted SAR for Engineer’s approval to substitute the
American supplier of supports of 1st fix by a local supplier.
- SAR are submitted for Engineer’s approval, KORRA shall submit the
relevant materials submittal -in parallel with commencing the mock up-
immediately after receiving Engineer’s response in this regard.
2. Welded fittings
- Engineer has approved KORRA’s SAR for welded fittings, and KORRA shall
submit the relevant submittal shortly.
3. Threaded fitting
- Engineer has approved KORRA’s SAR for threaded fittings, KORRA has
proceeded with the purchasing process and the relevant materials shall
be delivered onsite by next week (Maximum on Thursday 29th August,
2019)

4. Pipes
Letter from Supplier (Sigma) was supposed to be submitted on 1st August, 2019
in regards to the pipes with diameters larger than 12 inches. KORRA promised to
submit the relevant letter shortly.
5. The undetermined submission dates under this point (Point C) shall be clearly
stated in the recovery plan which will be submitted by KORRA on 22nd August,
2019.
6. KORRA shall submit a recovery plan in this regard on 22nd August, 2019 while
considering the early start as a datum. KORRA shall consider that time float are
not for its sole use.

d. KORRA’S Proposal for Building No.8 (Retail)


1. KORRA has received proposal for Building No.8 on 19th June, 2019 and was
supposed to reply within 14 days from the aforementioned date.
2. KORRA shall submit its relevant proposal maximum by Tuesday 27th August,
2019 to be submitted to Employer on Wednesday 28th August, 2019
3. KORRA has overlooked the dates of milestones of shrinkage strip and Building
no.8, confirming to abide by the same with no time impact on project completion
dates or the intermediate milestones.
4. KORRA has confirmed to commence its relevant works at Basement slab of
Building No.8 on 1st February, 2020.
5. KORRA shall complete the 1st fix works at Building 8 (Retail) on 1st June, 2020.
6. KORRA shall complete the 2nd fix works of Building No.8 (Retail) within the
relevant milestone (MEP 2nd fix)

II. Difference between IFC and IFT


1. KORRA sent letter on 10th July, 2019, which was forwarded to Employer,
discussing the difference between IFC and IFT.
2. KORRA shall send the detailed particulars in this regard by 1st September, 2019
as agreed with the Employer.

III. Slab on Grade


1. RME shall submit the backfilling dates of underground and basement to
KORRA on 22nd August, 2019 to enable the latter to work on slab on grade.

IV. KORRA’S Personnel


1. RME has raised its concern regarding KORRA’s personnel as they are
understaffed in regards to Technical office team and Quality Control
2. RME has requested KORRA to hire Quality Control Manager and increase the
team members of Technical office.
3. As per previous agreement, KORRA was supposed to hire Quality Control
Manager by 17th August, 2019. However, the hiring date is extended to 1st
October, 2019.

V. Cost Reduction of Request For Proposals (RFP) SAR
1. All the RFPs submitted by KORRA do not necessitate cost reduction
2. In case of any cost reduction requested by Employer, KORRA shall submit the
same for approval. In which case, KORRA shall be reimbursed with the
reduced cost/price after deducting RME’s lost mark up.
VI. Logistics Plan
1. KORRA raised its concern in regards to Logistics Plan (Rev.05)
2. Based on previous agreement, parties (RME and KORRA) has discussed the
matter of logistics plan. Parties have concluded that the aforementioned plan
shall result in modification for 2 loops all of which shall necessitate installation
of additional valves amounting to 120,000 EGP. Furthermore, the logistics
plan may necessitate further additional quantities and reduction of quantities
at other parts.
3. Further meeting was held on 25th June, 2019 between parties in this regard
wherein parties have agreed on completion dated of pouring, insulation and
backfilling from RME’s side so that KORRA can proceed accordingly.
4. KORRA shall submit a detailed study in this regard for RME’s assessment.
VII. KORRA’s progress
1. KORRA shall commence the 1st fix at Building No.1 (Offices) within 2 weeks
from this meeting (maximum by 3rd September, 2019) with its regular
manpower and installing scaffolding.
