Products covered in this report are Class II. Portable general purpose luminaires.
All models were evaluated for construction of internal and external wiring as well as lamp holder and their
wattage rating. Following were the observations:
1. Aesthetically they look different in construction
2. Change in shape and size of luminaire
3. Change in wattage and lamp holder type
By considering all above parameters & their abnormal condition if any, following models were identified
for testing.
 Model no - 108845 having E-14 lamp holder with 6 x MAX 40W (15° tilt)
 Model no – 109719A having E-14 lamp holder with 5 x MAX 40W (15° tilt)
 Model no – 109206 having E-14 lamp holder with MAX 40W (15° tilt)
 Model no -111548 having E-27 lamp holder with MAX 40W (15° tilt)
 Model no -107964 having E-27 lamp holder with MAX 40W (15° tilt)
 Model no -108050 having E-14 lamp holder with 3xMAX 40W
 Model no -109161 having E-27 lamp holder with MAX 40W (15° tilt)
 Model no -110088 having E-27 lamp holder with MAX 40W (15° tilt)

Product Description:
The luminaires were made up of metal & glass Supplied with safety certified 2 core sheathed PVC cable
for connection of E27 & E14 lamp holders. Wiring within the lampholder has been anchored and protected
from undue strain. Ratings & types of wiring and lampholder are appropriate for the application and their
assembly into the lamp design is in accordance within the principles of safe design.
