Mann Ki Baat 2.0 (42nd episode, November 27, 2022)

YOUTH WHO ARE MAKING ROCKETS

GIVING MESSAGE-SKY IS
NOT THE LIMIT

Mann Ki Baat is a medium for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to connect with 130 crore countrymen.
In this program, before each episode, he reads many letters received from citizens in villages and
cities and listens to audio messages of children and elders, which is like a spiritual experience for
him. On 27 November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the 95th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' in
which he talked about issues such as G20, India's burgeoning progress in space, drones, and music.
This program of 'Mann Ki Baat' is fast moving towards its hundredth milestone. An excerpt:

SPACE SECTOR MAKES EVERY INDIAN HEAD HELD HIGH: On November 18, India sent its first rocket
into space, which was designed by the private sector of India. As soon as this rocket named 'Vikram-S'
took off, every Indian heart swelled with pride. After the space sector was opened to the private sector,
these dreams of the youth are also coming true. These youths who are making rockets are giving a
message - The sky is not the limit.

WORLD WILL BE INTRODUCED TO VARIOUS AND DISTINCTIVE COLOURS OF CULTURE: In the

coming days, many programmes related to G-20 will be organized in different parts of the country. I am
sure that you will bring the diverse and distinctive colours of your local culture to the world.

NAGA MUSIC ALBUM: The lifestyle of Naga society, their art-culture, and music is an important part
of the glorious heritage of our country. To save them and pass them on to the next generation, an
organization called Lidi-Cro-U has been formed, which is also working to launch the album of Naga
music.

CRAZE OF INDIAN CULTURE AND MUSIC AROUND THE WORLD: In the last 8 years, the export
of musical instruments from India has increased 3.5 times. While the export of electrical musical
instruments has increased 60 times. This shows that the craze for Indian culture and music is increasing
all over the world.

HOME TO THE OLDEST TRADITIONS: We all always take pride in the fact that our country is home to
the oldest traditions in the world. So it is also our responsibility to preserve our traditions and traditional
knowledge. Promote it as well and take it forward as much as possible

VIDYA DAAN, THE BIGGEST WORK: Even a small lamp lit in the field of education can illuminate the
entire society. If someone is imparting education, then he is doing the biggest work in the interest of
society.

INDIA IS MOVING FAST IN THE FIELD OF DRONES: India is also moving fast in the field of drones. A
few days ago we saw how apples were sent through drones to Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh. Now with
the help of drone technology, the delicious Kinnauri apples of Himachal will start reaching the people
more quickly. With this, our farmer brothers' and sisters' expenditure will be reduced. Apples will reach
the market on time due to which there will be less wastage of apples.

theme: "One Earth, One Family, One Future."
This is not just a slogan. It takes into account
recent changes in human circumstances, which
we have collectively failed to appreciate. Today,
we have the means to produce enough to meet the
basic needs of all people in the world. Today, we do
not need to fight for our survival; our era need not
be one of war. Indeed, it must not be one! Today,
the greatest challenges we face—climate change,
terrorism, and pandemics—can be solved not by
fighting each other but only by acting together.
Fortunately, today's technology also gives us
the means to address problems on a humanity-

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister
The determination shown in the past, such
as for wheat, paddy, is now being applied in
India to the production of edible oil, with the
goal of becoming self-reliant in edible oil.
National Mission on Edible Oil—Oil Palm—
was established to accomplish this.
More than 11 thousand crores of rupees

through this mission. The government
will ensure that farmers have access to
everything they need, from quality seeds

encouraging the cultivation of oil palm, this

of other traditional oilseed crops.
Since India is an agricultural exporter,
its reliance on imported edible oil is not

However, after 2014, the central government
applied a 100% neem coating to urea, making it
only suitable for agricultural use and effectively
ending urea black marketing. The farmer
learned which soils required how much urea
by getting the soil health card. A plan was
developed to restart the country's five major
fertiliser factories, which had been closed
for years, in order to achieve self-sufficiency
in urea. Fertiliser production has begun in
Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The Ramagundam
Fertiliser Factory has also been opened. When
these five factories start producing urea, the
country will get 60 lakh metric tonnes. This
means that thousands of crores of rupees will
be saved from going abroad, and farmers will
get urea more easily.
We are putting equal emphasis on new
technology to modernise the country's
fertiliser sector. India has developed urea
nanotechnology. The benefit of one sack of
urea will be available from only one bottle of
nano-urea. Given the global situation, self-
sufficiency in fertilisers is essential.
Over the last eight years, the central
government has spent approximately Rs 10
lakh crore on providing farmers with low-cost
fertilisers. The central government will spend
more than Rs 2.5 lakh crore this year alone to
provide farmers with low-cost fertilisers.

The toy industry in the world is worth
around Rs 7 lakh crore, and India's share is
increasing now. Earlier, where toys worth
more than Rs 3,000 crore used to come
from outside, there has been a 70 percent
reduction in toy imports in the last three
years due to the positive results of the toy
sector from Make in India.
During this period, India has exported toys
worth more than 2,600 crore rupees to
foreign countries, whereas earlier only toys
worth 300–400 crore rupees used to go out
of India. In this, the 32 toy clusters being
developed in the country play an important
role.
According to the Ministry of Commerce
and Industry, India imported toys worth US
$ 371 million in fiscal year 2018-19, a figure
that is expected to fall by 237 percent to
US $ 110 million in fiscal year 2021-22.

MARGINAL AND DAIRY FARMERS
Bovines play an important role in the Indian economy

“T
here is no such thing as good terrorism and
bad terrorism. It is an attack on humanity,
freedom, and civilization. It knows no
boundaries. Only a uniform, unified and zero tolerance
approach can defeat terrorism.”
Addressing the 'No Money for Terror' Ministerial
Conference (Counter-Terrorism Financing), Prime
Minister Narendra Modi's statement reiterates India's
commitment, which has become the foundation of its
fight against terrorism. Highlighting the importance of
this global conference Prime Minister said it should not
be seen as just a gathering of ministers as terrorism
affects the entire humanity.
He said the long-term impact of terrorism is adverse
to the poor and the local economy. He said that be it
tourism or trade, no one likes a sector that is under
constant threat. He said that terrorism results in the
loss of livelihood of the people. It is imperative that we
stop the illegal flow of cash to terrorist organizations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly called
for avoiding any ambiguity in dealing with terrorism
and warned countries that use terrorism as an
instrument of foreign policy. The prime minister
said, " over the years terrorism in various names
and forms tried to hurt India." He said that even
though thousands of precious lives were
lost, India fought terrorism bravely. The
