Program
Short Pursuant to the DepEd Order No. 43, s. 2022, titled “Conduct of the K
Background to 12 Basic Education End-of-School-Year Rites for School Year 2021 –
and Rationale 2022 in Light of the COVID – 19 Public Health Emergency, The Department
(Basis/ of Education (DepEd) announces the conduct of the School Year 2021 –
Reference) 2022, End-of-School Year (EOSY) Rites for Kindergarten, Grade 6, Grade
10, and Grade 12 learners who shall satisfactorily meet the curriculum
requirements at the end of SY 2021 - 2022 by virtue of the Joint
Memorandum DM-OUCI-2021-049.

The theme of the SY 2021-2022 EOSY rites shall be “Gradweyt ng K

to 12: Masigasig sa mga Pangarap at Matatag sa mga Pagsubok (K to 12
Graduates: Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience in the Face of
Adversity), which emphasizes that despite the risks and uncertainty brought
by COVID-19 Pandemic, as well as the challenges it has posed to
education, Filipino learners remain resolute in their desire to build a better
future anchored on a clear vision.

DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones said that the K to 12 is the

innovative curriculum of DepEd which covers Kindergarten and 12 years of
basic education. The program aims to provide sufficient time for mastery of
concepts and skills, develop life-long learners and prepare graduates for
tertiary education, middle-level skills development, employment, and
entrepreneurship.

Indeed, this major reform in the Basic Education Curriculum of the

Department of Education through the Senior High School (SHS) Program
would be able to produce its graduates who have the following
characteristics:

1. Holistically developed;
2. Equipped with 21st century skills (i.e., learning and innovation skills, life
and career skills, communication skills, and information media and
technology skills); and
3. Prepared for the future, be it in pursuit of higher education or acquisition
of middle-level skills, or geared towards employment or entrepreneurship.

In view of this therefore, it is inevitable that we prepare the most memorable

program for the graduates of San Manuel High School. The Limited Face –
to face End of School Year Rites shall be held on June 30, 2022 at 4:00 PM

1. Bring the teachers, completers, school administrators, parents,

community and other stakeholders together that would provide
avenue for evaluation of the Junior High Program with unity and
cooperation through the activities leading to the completion
ceremonies.
2. Ensure the protection of the health, safety, and well-being of learners,
teachers, teachers, personnel, as well as parents, and other
