1. Introduction and Brief Description of the Topic

A hotel is a commercial establishment that provides paid lodging, food and other
services to the public, usually on a short term basis. Thus, it provides the basic
accommodation for visitors. In addition to meeting a need for temporary lodging, a
hotel offers a gateway through which guests may discover the city or the
neighbourhood where they are staying and experience a different way of life.
2. Motivation/ Emphasis
The goal is to do everything to make life pleasant for guests and create as much
impact as possible for the length of their stay
3. Intended highlights of the Project
To promote local culture heritage and architecture through careful design. To
create spaces which can suffice all needs related to leisure and tourism. Cost
effective and functional design.
4. Aim & Objectives
The aim is to design a 5 Star Hotel to create a build environment which would reflect
the traditional and contemporary architecture of Jaipur. It should reflect the urban
character of that place.
OBJECTIVES-
• To design a hotel responding to the site conditions
• To design as per vernacular architecture of Jaipur.
• To follow the immediate urban context and design accordingly
• To create a structure which would reflect upon the values and feel of Jaipur.

Typology of Thesis DESIGN BASED INTEGRATED WITH RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY

1. Introduction and Brief Description of the Topic

Resort is a place to spent holiday for relaxation and recreation so that, one can give
dynamism to their leisure time. Resort is a place that is frequented for holidays or
recreation or for a particular purpose. A resort can function as a conference centre, as
a meeting centre, as a banquette, as a restaurant, as a health club and various other
functions
It is a self-contained commercial establishment that caters to most of a vacationer's
wants. Putting such a space in an urban context gives the vacationer an escape from
their mundane life, that despite the urban setting, flaunts a connection to nature,
extensive health and wellness options and sustainable features.

2. Motivation/ Emphasis
The emphasis is on creating a space that is a full-service lodging facility that
provides access to or offers a range of amenities and recreation facilities to
emphasize a leisure experience

vacationer's wants. Putting such a space in an urban context gives the vacationer an
escape from their mundane life, that despite the urban setting, flaunts a connection
to nature, extensive health and wellness options and sustainable features.

in Agra, Uttar Pradesh

Typology of Thesis DESIGN BASED INTEGRATED WITH RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY

1. Introduction and Brief Description of the Topic

A hotel is a commercial establishment that provides paid lodging, food and other
services to the public, usually on a short term basis. Thus, it provides the basic
accommodation for visitors.
The hotel and tourism industry should design hotels and accommodation that will
make important environmental improvements to its structure in order to minimize its
impact on the environment. Buildings that need fewer resources and materials to
build, occupy and maintain, and are more comfortable and healthy to live and work in
with minimum adverse impact to the environment.

2. Motivation/ Emphasis
Designing a eco- hotel, which is essential in today’s time as:
Hospitality sector has a major contribution to carbon emission
With growing awareness people are conscious of the same while booking.

3. Intended highlights of the Project

An eco- hotel is a hotel that focusses on sustainability in its business practices.
It differentiates itself from other hotels with its strong focus of reducing carbon
emission, water usage, waste reduction and electricity usage, these type of hotels are
trying to reduce their impact on the environment as much as possible.
It will also be built from sustainable materials and aims to also leave a low or no
carbon footprint.

4. Aim & Objectives

The aim is to design a 5 star hotel which will be "functional, aesthetically sound with
excellent services" to develop a property that simultaneously meets the needs of the
guests, the staff, and the owner; which focuses not only on aesthetically pleasing and
efficient space planning but also try to reduce its impact on the environment as much
as possible.
