MOOT COURT SCRIPT

A very warm good evening to all of you. On behalf of Institution Innovation Council ,myself Drishti
and Aishwarya extend a heartfelt invite to all of you present here, welcoming you all to this year’s
Moot Court Ebullience 2023.It gives us an immense pleasure to welcome each one of you present
here. So without further delay lets start the event.

Institute Innovation Council, i.e., IIC, is an initiative started by the Government of India which
organizes events and seminars that are related to startups, innovation, entrepreneurship, and
intellectual property rights. The main aim of the committee is to systematically foster the culture of
innovation and build a startup ecosystem.

Ladies and gentlemen, let’s have a round of applause for the chief guest for today, Adv. Ms
Bhagyashri Ranade. She has completed B.com, LL.B,PGDL in securities laws.

. Before beginning the event we would like to recite the rules of the Competition:

So Let's begin:

● 2 MINS WOULD BE GIVEN FOR OPENING STATEMENT TO EACH TEAM, next 2 mins would be
given for discussion amongst the team members and no mobile phones allowed AND NEXT 8
MINS of REBUTTAL ROUND WILL OCCUR BETWEEN TWO TEAMS ( 4 mins per team for
rebuttal) AND 1 MIN TO EACH TEAM WILL BE GIVEN TO CONCLUDE THEIR POINTS.
● 30 MINS WILL BE GIVEN TO the finalists TO PREPARE BEFORE we START for 2ND ROUND.
● THE MODE OF COMMUNICATION SHALL BE ENGLISH. VULGAR LANGUAGE AND ACTIONS OF
MISCONDUCT IN ANY FORM WILL NOT BE entertained WHICH MAY LEAD TO POINTS
DEDUCTIONS and disqualification.
● No other team can interrupt the speaking team, if interrupted it Would lead to negative
points.
● ANY KIND OF MISBEHAVIOUR, MISDEMEANOUR OR UNNECESSARY ARGUMENT WITH THE
EVENT HEADS OR ANY OF THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND MAY
LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION OF THE TEAM.
● ANY KIND OF REFERENCES OR PROMPTING WILL BE HIGHLY CONDEMNED.
● REFFERING FROM MOBILE PHONES, NOTES, BOOKS ETC WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION
AND POINTS WOULD BE DEDUCTED.
● THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL AND CANNOT BE CHALLENGED.
● DAMAGE TO ANY PROPERTY IN THE COLLEGE PREMISES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
● IN CASE OF ANY DISCREPANCY, THE DECISION OF THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE WILL BE
FINAL AND BINDING.

ALL THE SPECTATORS ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP THEIR MOBILE PHONES ON SILENT MODE AND
MAINTAIN SILENCE DURING THE DEBATE.
