    excavated earth using a 20 Ton Nissan lorry/tipper based on the following


    information:

    o Cost of hiring one(1) hydraulic excavator excluding operator: RM25.00/hr


    o Operating rate: RM 15.00/hr
    o Rental Rate of 1 unit Nissan lorry/tipper with driver : RM25.00/hr
    o Capacity of lorry: 6m3
    o Total distance to and fro from source of cut to filling ground: 1.5 km
    o Speed of lorry: 15 km/hr
    o Tipping time 5 minutes
    o Output of hydraulic excavator loading the lorry is 1 min/ excavator/m3
    o Bulking of cut materials: 120%
    o Overhead & Profit: 20%
    o Assume 1 excavator
