Scenario
Dubai is working on a plan to build a vast ‘eco-friendly’ recreational park in Al Barsha. The
park will include slides, an inclined walking area, a basketball court, a dart-throwing range,
along with shops, restaurants, and other entertainment outlets.

Dubai Planning Committee hired an engineering company to design and build the
recreational park.

The engineering company wants to build a prototype for the park and needs your help to
calculate the dimensions of the basketball court, the dimensions of the slides, the angle of
elevation and depression of the walking area, and the throwing distance of darts. Your task
is to provide the company with accurate measurements and calculations based on your
understanding of the Pythagoras theorem and trigonometric ratios.
