Job Description
 Have to manage the team of Draftsman and Engineers.
 Review bridge/ highway designs and drawings.
 Good knowledge of index properties of soil, soil classification, settlement criteria with
respect to various Indian codes.
 Design of earth retaining structures e.g. RE Wall, Retaining Walls
 Calculation of bearing capacity of soil and rock for different types of foundations e.g.
shallow and deep foundation.
 Much conversant with sub soil exploration techniques, field and laboratory test.
 Preparation of Geotechnical Investigation report with bore log preparation, grain size
distribution, Mohr circles and foundation recommendations
 Ensure that designs are in accordance with the codal provisions and specifications
 Ensure timely submission of various reports to clients.
 Shall be responsible for guiding and coordinate work of all members of the team.
 Identification of alignment options and selection of alignment alternatives based on
techno-economic considerations.
 Finalization of design standards, specifications and detailed designs. Finalization of
proposals for junction improvements.
 Attend meeting with clients like NHAI, MORTH, NHIDCL, BRO etc and give presentation on
time to time about the progress in project.

Job Specification
 Prospective employee must be a Civil Engineering Graduate.
 Should have more than 4+ Years of work experience in Geotechnical Work
 Have good leadership skills to manage the teams of subordinates and keep them
motivated.
