PRIMARY POSITION DETAILS

Geotech Engineer

• Graduate in Geotech Engineering/ any other relevant field with 75 % or more marks from an
Institute of Repute.
• Min 3-5 years experience for Infra Structure Projects ( Area Development or National Highways).
• Experience in Aviation field is preferable.
• Knowledge on Plaxis, Etabs and Safe models.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Strictly adhere to SMEC’s Business Management System (BMS), Quality Management

Systems (QMS) and OH&S procedures.
▪ Accountability - Compliance: Actively promote an integrity compliance culture free of any
misconduct.

Geotech Engineer to Ensure:

▪ Developing a strategic investigation plan for the site.
▪ Performing the geotechnical investigation as per the plan.
▪ Analyzing the ground stress which includes capacity and stress levels.
▪ Designing the projects based on the investigation performed.
▪ Creating 2D and 3D models using computer applications.
▪ Taking care of geological hazards while planning the project.
▪ Setting budget and time constraints on ground investigations.
▪ Performing basic administrative tasks if required.
