DRIVING POLICY

Vehicle accidents are one of the biggest risks to personnel and contractors. CPP is committed to reduce vehicle
related incidents and improve driving safety performance. Everyone working for CPP is responsible to work
towards these goals.

The CPP Driving Policy applies to all CPP personnel and Contractors while driving or riding any vehicle for
CPP. The policy includes, but is not limited to, cars, buses, trucks, heavy goods vehicles, tankers, off-road
vehicles including fork lift trucks, and all other vehicles used for CPP.

CPP Driving Policy

It is mandatory that Drivers must complete driver training and be certified, in addition all CPP Drivers must
have valid CPP driving Passport. All drivers must acquire an Iraqi driving license for the class of
vehicle that they are required to operate.
Fatigue Management training must be attended by all Professional Drivers.

Seat Belts must be worn by all CPP personnel and contractors driving or riding in a vehicle on CPP business, at
all times when the vehicle is in motion. It is strongly recommended that seat belts are used by all personnel and
their families at all times in non-work-related vehicles as well.

Mobile phones or other two-way communication devices must not be used while driving. The rule is that
drivers must not use their mobile phone when the engine is switched on.

Alcohol, drugs or any other substance or medication that can impair the ability to drive must not be used when
driving for CPP business and also at all times while driving a CPP provided vehicle. The company will have the
right to undertake random testing of personnel for alcohol.

The number of passengers in a vehicle must not exceed the manufacturer’s specification for the vehicle.

The posted speed limit must not be exceeded on all public roads and within the field boundary. Where no speed
limit signs are posted, the maximum speed limit for a dual carriageway (two or more lanes in each direction)
must not exceed 100 kilometres per hour, single carriageway (one lane in each direction) 80 kilometres per
hour, and for other built up areas and unpaved roads, the maximum speed limit must not exceed 50 kilometres
per hour.

The vehicle must be fit for purpose and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

In the event of negligence or non-compliance with this policy, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken
