1. What is Philosophy?

In a broad sense, philosophy is an activity people engage in when they strive to comprehend
fundamental truths about themselves, the world in which they live, and their relationships to the
world and to each other. The term "philosophy" literally means "love of wisdom."

2. What is the reason why philosophy as a subject required in various curricula in Senior High

School? Explain your answer.

One reason why senior high school includes the philosophy subject is to teach us how to solve
problems and to help other people who have problems in life, to give them advice on what they
should do, and to expand our philosophy skills.

3. As a student, what is your philosophy in life? Why?

My life philosophy is that you should enjoy every moment of existence and grant others the same
right. Since we all make poor decisions, we shouldn't criticize others for their decisions. You
should live your life whatever you want as long as it makes you happy and doesn't affect anyone
else. All we can aspire for in this life is happiness, and we must work to get it. When we can, we
should assist others, and when we can't, we should gently accept failure.
