View point of podcast
Self-motivation is the best form of motivation for
oneself, it is an important element which is
required to stimulate the desire in people for
performing and giving their best at their work.
People who are self-motivated will always want to
give their best and also be willing to take various
responsibilities.

But in the podcast, it is told that people cannot

come out of their comfort zone they make a mind
and this setup of mind prevents them from doing
anything different from their regular routine.

The speaker felt that only thinking about positive

motivation is not enough action is equally
important there are many people who keep on
thinking of starting a new venture like doing
exercise daily they keep up the spirit for few days
but after sometime they give up. The speaker feels
that this is because of lack of self-motivation.
Self-motivation
self-motivation is the force that keeps
pushing us to go on - it's our internal drive to
achieve, produce, develop, and keep moving
forward. When you think you're ready to quit
something, or you just don't know how to
start, your self-motivation is what pushes you
to go on.

With self-motivation, you'll learn and grow -

regardless of the specific situation. That's why
it's such a fundamental tool for reaching your
goals, achieving your dreams, and succeeding,
in this journey we call life.
A comfort zone setup prevents us from achieving
something we know that drawbacks whatever
gratifying process prevent us from achieving
something.
What is required?

1. Prepare a blueprint of our goals

The speaker believes that it is very important to plan
out our actions properly. Short term goal is very
important and we have to take baby steps to fulfil our
goals.

2. Develop a strong belief system

In order to do something, it is very important to
develop a belief system that I can do this and we can
bring about a change and for this we have to unlearn
something and we have to understand the problem.
3. Open yourself to new learning
In order to achieve something significant it will be
possible that there will be a conflict between our
original self and our imaginary self and for this we have
to open our self to new learning there will be always a
conflict between the two results and then at that time
we have to take proper action there are very critical
moments in our life when this conflict goes on but
powerful if we have to overcome those conflicting
moments.
4. Five Second Rule
The speaker believes that whenever we are firm
determined and we start doing some work so initially
for a few days we are able to keep up our promise but
after sometime we give up so the time it will at which
we give up at that time you should adopt the 5 second
rule within the moment when you are relapsing back at
that time it is very important to take action. That
moment you have to reassure yourself with your
commitment and say no to your desire of giving up.
5. Change the sensory perception
The speaker that most of the things in life are covered
by sensory perception and we should be ready to
change your sensory perception is in order to achieve
something significant in our life.

6. Understand that problem is there

We have to realise that there is some problem and we
have to understand that what is the problem after this
we have to understand that how we have to solve that
problem.

7. Accept conflict
Whenever we will do something new you will be
always face a conflict between yourself, we don't
have to fear that conflict we have to fight with
ourselves we have to fight with our old self me up
to push towards a new self so changes only
constant so we have to go for that fight with
ourselves and over power ourselves with the
change.
7. Take baby steps to overcome problem
If you are facing any problem so you have to overcome
the problems of this, we have to take a small step and
make new strategies to come out of it if you are
successful, it is good if you are not successful again, we
have to start from the beginning.

9. Enjoy the process of this transformation.

In order to overcome the problems of life no external
motivation is required from inside we have to be
motivated to understand the problem find the solution
to the problem make some small steps blueprints to
overcome our problem find the conflict and try to stop
the formula of 5 seconds and try to overcome that
conflict and then move on.
10. Here are some more points

1. Start Simple.
2. keep good company.
3. keep learning.
4. see the Good in bad.
5. stop thinking.
6. know yourself.
7. track your progress.
8. help others.
Motivation is what pushes us to achieve our goals, feel
more fulfilled and improve our overall quality of life.
Understanding and developing your self-motivation
can help you to take control of many other aspects of
your life.
Motivation is one of the three areas of personal skills
that are integral to the concept of emotional
intelligence.
Daniel Goleman, the author of several seminal books
on Emotional Intelligence, identified four elements that
make up motivation: -
 Personal drive to achieve.
 the desire to improve or to meet certain
standards.
 Commitment to personal or organisational goals.
 Initiative, which he defined as 'readiness to act on
opportunities'.
We should think of a personal drive to achieve as ambition,
or perhaps personal empowerment. However, it is also worth
thinking about it in terms of mindset.
There are two types of mindsets: -
fixed and growth.
o Those with a fixed mindset believe
that talent is ingrained, and that we
cannot change our level of ability.
o Those with a growth mindset believe that they can
improve their skills through hard work and effort.
Research shows that those who believe that they can
improve-that is, who have a growth mindset-are far
more likely to achieve in whatever sphere they work.
If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to
people or things.

Albert Einstein: -
You should set goals beyond your reach so you always
have something to live for.
Ted Turner: -
The greater danger for most of us isn't that our aim is
too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we
reach it.
To sum up we can conclude that the psychology of self-
motivation centres around our own action on a
particular situation. Most of the people keep on
thinking that they are positively motivated in their
mind but they don't translate their thoughts into action
self. motivation is one in which a person understands
the problem and translates the problem by removing
the problems through smaller steps making a proper
plan and changing the plan into action and executing it
properly by overcoming the conflict in the mind to
bring about a change in the life.

There should be a desire in oneself to improve. We

should set targets which should be beyond our reach.
So, in this present world everyone has to develop the
self-motivation which will only ensure your great
success in this world.
